You're 10 ply, bud. The pandemic was and has been proven to be a hoax. The CDC has all but apologized for it just in the last week or two. Grow a pair, snowflake.

Regardless of what has happened, I think that we Americans can agree that the spirit that is Iranian wrestling is inspiring if you have ever seen a world competition. They are incredible fans and they are our brothers, regardless of leadership. I'm not the most kumbaya guy on the planet, but the Iranians understand the USA better than anyone else in the Middle East. I would love to go there and talk wrestling with the greatest fans on the planet. And always remember that fandom ensures the future of the sport.

What if it was executed in the name of peaceful protest? It would be the most peaceful, with by far the most safety protocols in place, protest we’ve seen in a while. (Probably ever)

You seem conflicted to me. On the one hand you are happy and proud of the freedoms that the US system offers its citizen (and rightly so), on the other hand you seem very upset at people who take advantage of such freedoms by protesting.

It's not like America where you can spend decades on death row with appeals and such. Stupid system in Iran, need to scrap death penalty entirely in my opinion. Even if they use it with good intentions (they are not) they will execute innocent people inevitably even if it is by accident. Not sure if I understand right but it seems some are using this to say don't complain here in America because Iran is worse. I don't live in the USA and never been there but I disagree. Iran is an Islamic theocracy, one of the dumbest systems of government in the world. Low bar to be better than in terms of personal freedoms if the bar is Iran, lol. How can you even have an Islamic theocracy? Unless I am incorrect and missed a big news story Islam (or any religion) was never proven to be true. And I have talked to more religious Iranians about this and unfortunately they had nothing to say to me after I read the Quran and wasn't impressed. If i'm wrong please inform me because I wouldn't want to miss out on beautiful women in heaven lol. Iran is also paradise compared to North Korea so maybe they shouldn't complain. Also true as others have said that sanctions are killing many Iranians.

This is making me very excited about NCAA’s though. Obviously would love to see a Lee/Suriano rematch but didn’t Vito beat Suriano in FS? So not necessarily a sure thing he even makes the finals. Definitely still bummed we didn’t get to see 133 play out last year but even without Suriano (plus Gross & Tucker) it’s still pretty stacked with Fix, Micic, RBY, DeSanto and Phillippi (assuming they all wrestle).

Hey guys Coach Fiorito here and I'm back at with my latest Wrestling Mastery video. This time having the honor of covering the best double leg takedown of our era. We've all seen it! I took it under the microscope. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy making these videos.

I see Lee getting his hand raised and then standing at the top of the podium, which I think is what most people see, which is why I'd be surprised to see Suriano wrestling at Lee's weight.

No, that's not how it works. The onus is on you to follow the law. If you don't like the town's law, go somewhere else. There are plenty of towns where you can hold wrestling tournaments-I don't see the point is purposefully breaking the local ordinance. It makes wrestlers look bad to be so disrespectful to a community-to think a high school wrestling competition is more important than the law.

Because it is the only sport with ~100 people on the roster. So basically, any school with football that is in compliance with Title IX has to have like 3-5 more women's sports than men's.

In light of what we know about false convictions, corruption, polictial agendas, disinformation, and econoimic disparity, it is sickening and barbaric that any nation continues with executions/capital punishment... oh...wait a minute... 'Murica! Never mind.

Your Ian Parker logic is impeccable. Your Chad Red, not so much. Red turned it up to 8th place in 2019, four places below Demas. Then Demas pinned him in 2020. If you argue last win takes it, you just can't put Red over Demas.

This isn’t a peaceful protest and even that is not good. These are parents and athletes competing indoors in direct violation of the town’s ordinance meant to protect public health. Imagine a thousand people coming from out of town to where you live putting the lives of you and your neighbors at risk. Extraordinarily selfish behavior by the parents and organizers. If you want to hold the event, do it in a location where it is lawful.

https://open.spotify.com/episode/3ENtYE5gTSNIAdSV0trtiI?si=D_u_SdCMTKq52I7OOI9noQ I thought this exchange in the 29th minute was interesting: Justin: And do you know yet when you can come back? Or is that still up in the air? Zahid: Still up in the air. Talking with my coaches and lawyer. But I'm still in the grind, still training. We're still figuring out some things, but it should be very soon. Justin: So you definitely think you'll be at the trials then next year? Zahid: Yeah, I do believe so. Closer to yes than no. Justin: I appreciate your candor to discuss your suspension. We've all made mistakes, we've all fallen short. There is definitely grace to get back up again and keep pressing on. That seems to imply the suspension is not specific to ASU. It was also interesting to hear him take ownership of whatever it was. He calls it "my mistake" and talks about thinking he was invincible off the mat because he felt invincible on the mat and how it humbled him. All in all he sounds like he will bounce back well.

Yeah I’m super confused by this post too. I actually thought you were being sarcastic when you said you believed the story. Why would people be naive if they didn’t believe the story? I think most would argue if you DO believe the story 100% you’re probably naive... Then combine that with your second paragraph basically saying “everybody has juiced,” and it certainly seems implied that you were thinking Daton did it on purpose...

    Fix suspended for doping

Kid wrestles a tournament comes home and then shows a residue amount - not surprising it was only trace a full week after the cut. The father - a non-athlete - takes ostarine despite it causing gynecomastia, enlarged prostate, and shrinking of the testicles. (Source: US Pharmacist - Anecdotal evidence suggests that taking ostarine at these high doses over this extended time period can adversely lead to lowered testosterone levels.17 The side effects of decreased testosterone include reduced sex drive, erectile dysfunction, infertility, muscle weakness, loss of bone density, weight gain accompanied by increased body fat, insomnia, and depression.1) Makes perfect sense. All of the guys at my club are on it. Helps driver distance. Not so good for the putter though :) No one puts these 2 things together. Instead they lawyer up and blame it on any and all other supplements he's taking. Good legal strategy but comes up empty. "Hmmm - we're in trouble. I wonder what my attorney would suggest?" Lightning bolt!!! Dad says "Hey DF - remember that one swig of my garage stash you took just after you came home when the doorbell rang and the nice man from USADA was here?". I wasn't there when you drank it so I have no knowledge but it was Mom's usual special juice, so it must have stuck in your mind." "Why yes Dad - i do. It was sooooo tasty. Didn't Mark Perry recommend that to you? Glad I only took one very small swig. I'm surprised you never mentioned you were storing and taking a drug that could cause me to lose my career and potentially destroy my health and ability to give you grandchildren. You silly Dad you. I love you big guy. You really are ripped these days" Lawyer threatens USADA with protracted legal action. They compromise. All is quiet - Not a word from Dad, JS, or MP. Maybe it will all just go away. "Remember when that bad man pulled my headgear? Now that is worth crying to the newspapers about for sure! This we will just stay mum on." Biggest crock of nonsense ever. DF is a cheater and probably always has been. I expect this is the beginning of the end. He won't be able to pull weight again without risking a 2nd hit. USADA will then burn him at the stake. Smith, Perry, Elder Fix and DF all gave the a sport a black eye.

I find it hard to believe that a world class athlete would be eating or drinking something that contained something he/she didn't know was in it. It seems more plausible for someone like him to take something not knowing it was a banned substance than play the card that he didn't know what he was taking and/or his dad slipped something to him. Pretty far fetched stuff that was probably made up in an attempt to reduce the length of the ban. I am sure Daton is a good kid who just made a bad choice and now he has to live with the consequences. Good luck to him and I hope he learned his lesson.

He is not in the UWW database. I think his wrestling accomplishments are grossly exaggerated. But that should not matter. A man should not be executed for protesting. Iran government treats protestors the way Trump wishes he could treat protestors in this country.
