High level observations / improvement feedback for the desktop browser user. Fix the white space issues | causing too much scrolling for user Watch There are two inches of white space between the top menu and the "browse by content." | reduce by 80% Two inches of white space between 'live & upcoming' and 'featured' videos | reduce by 80% Two inches of white space on the left-hand margin and zero white space on the right-hand margin. | should be equal The video selection scroll/next icon shows when the user hovers over any video. This is not intuitive because the white circle icon is hard to see when it is superimposed over a video that also is commonly white. | Add white space to right-hand margin and add the scroll/next icon in the margin so it is easy to see News 50% of the screen is white space. Two inches on the left-hand margin. Four inches or more in the right-hand margin. I'm including the 'Get the most important Wrestling stories delivered straight to your inbox.' floating box on the right-hand side. That box takes up way to much space and adds zero value. Make that a news subscription menu option or a tiny subscription icon; stop taking up so much space with it. Put the news as the home page; not the videos Reduce the image/video to story/video link ratio. Not every video or news article requires an image / video News Provide an image for ~one of every five news titles. Look at ESPN, CNN, and NBC News to see how easy it is to absorb a list of news articles in columns without an overwhelming amount of photos. Look at Fox News to see how 'not to do it' as Fox News requires endless vertical scrolling. Use more thumbnail images than large images. Not every image needs to be the same size and stop with the 1:1 image to article ratio. Make videos easier to navigate | Users will not take time to scroll to discover what content may appear Videos Add a table of contents that allow the user to browse/quick select subject groupings. This TOC could be a menu drop down or be a list. For example, the left-hand margin could list current headings that one has to scroll through... FEATURED 2021 WORLD TEAM TRIALS INSANE POTENTIAL TRIALS REMATCHES CAN'T-MISS MATCHES FROM JUNIOR WORLDS ALL-ACCESS AT THE 2021 JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS THE BADER SHOW CLIPS LEGENDARY JUNIOR WORLDS MATCHES Organize videos by context for easier navigation. Even the 2016 world championships were "real". Why would they allow Olympians to go when the point was to fill in the weights we are screwed out of in the Olympics? They all got their shot that year. Sure, they were watered down, but we complain about the non-Olympic weights being weak even in non-Olympic years. And the World Championships the year after the Olympics (which is basically what this year's worlds will be), is always a bit weaker with retirements and guys not being as committed. It doesn't take away from what those that are committed and show up are able to accomplish.

Bob, at 98 you may not have much time on your hands but some of the younger folks on this here forum might be thinking what am I gonna do with all this time till I'm 98? :)

Yes it’s a real world championship. Everyone has the opportunity to go. What decisions they make is on them. It’s not like the 2016 JV tournament with only four weights and no Olympians allowed.

Are we going to see more of the dual mat format for this upcoming season? I personally loved it because it gave us an opportunity to see some different match ups with a lot of different wrestlers that might not otherwise have a chance to step on the mat. I'd imagine some programs will have them almost every dual and others will go back to a single mat only. Thoughts?

Yes, would “truth for health” and “real news network” be wrong?? No way, at least not based off of their names. Man, I was an idiot for believing the FDA, NIH, and scientists/physicians from Harvard, MIT, etc when all along I should have just checked “real news.” It reminds me of how I used to copy my answers off of my friends in school. The teacher said we were wrong, and that the kids who ended up going to better colleges were right, but i guess now it turns out that I was in fact correct.

Against my better judgment what are these supposed to prove? The ‘The Truth for Health Foundation’ gets a number of things wrong in the vaccine section alone: ‘the vaccine doesn’t protect against variants’ is false ’no reduced spread’ is certainly debatable ‘no reduced hospitalizations or deaths’ is false They hammer home ‘it’s experimental / not FDA’ approved but then talk about Regeron as an alternative (despite being experimental) and now Pfizer is approved…. They seem to have very little knowledge of the mRNA vaccine research at least recently. Comparing AIDS and covid isn’t really apples to apples. There isn’t really anything cited in this at all either just broad statements… The doctors cited in this don’t seem to have any research program — a foot and ankle doctor shouldn’t be cited as a vaccine or IDD expert. I find it kinda fascinating that one of the skepticisms against the vaccine is that you can’t hold the makers responsible yet here we are with a 20 pdf riddled no citations and really no expertise on the topic with errors giving advice… Most amazing to me is this document discourages vaccination yet the vast majority of their advantages to home care are actually achieved with the vaccine, definitively!

It's tough to downplay any year's WC, even the 2016 "JV" version. I'm sure any one of us would love to have Logan Stieber's world champion moniker on their resume. Retrospectively, he did win against a solid field.

    5x NCAA Top 8 Finishers

The other part to that is how many of them will want to compete for 4 more years? I mean you went into college expecting 4 years to compete, Covid may have changed that for a few, but I would think a solid percentage will move on after 4…

The USSR and the rest of the eastern bloc were second world countries. This meant their citizens had health care, education and technology, but no muscle cars and couldn't vacation down at the gulf of Mexico. There was also Stalin and some others, as you mentioned.

    How long until...

It doesn't have to be an RTC either. What stops a wealthy donor who say owns a restaurant chain get a recruit to go to his alma matter and then pay him big bucks to advertise for his restaurant? I think this is why the NCAA had resisted this for so long. It is going to be hard to stop that type of thing. As usual I expect the worst offenses will be in the big $ sports FB & BB but you may see some interesting deals in a sport like wrestling too if a big money donor wants to assert some influence,

no, this is what you said """ there is any number of resources someone can research in this age... a ton of matches online... any real coach could find it if the are inclined, but, that is the issue... coach- i don't know it... and what i don't know scares me!!!! don't wrestle it, kid!!!! nothing gets done until that overall attitude changes in this country...""" basically, i dont have time for a dummy like you, go look it up yourself a great way to help get people involved in the so called greatest version... am i right? wow. you said he was a phony 'any Real coach could find...' so yeah, i can't think of a better way to attract ppl to something they are unfamiliar with than condescention sarc

so maybe just maybe you should answer. a guy asks a question. legitimate. He actually, for some reason beyond human understanding wants YOUR opinion... again, i know, its unbelievable and you have to be an ***hole why? maybe actually be an advocate for your sport? i mean you spend enough time here, on this amazing bbs as you call it, that if you are so wonderful, probably could have taught many how to become greco gods, yet you continually waste your time being a jag off

The vaccine is as safe as aspirin and it'll help keep this global pandemic from becoming even worse than it already is. People freaked out about the 12 US Military that died in Kabul today (understandably, and god rest their souls.) Yet - today - 13 people died from COVID - just in Minnesota. It's shameful that we don't do our best to prevent these deaths. To try our best - vaccination is a how we get there. To not try our best is shameful.

But it IS political just as much, if not more, as it is viral. Just like the flu, it is NOT going away. It is NOT going to be "defeated". A considerable percentage of people are NOT going to get vaccinated and another percentage are NOT going to keep getting the shot annually. There just is NO WAY I see, that changes these people's minds and trying to force people to do so would create an EPIC ****storm. Now, to be clear, I have had Covid. It was NOT friendly to me. I have been fully vaccinated(Moderna 1 and 2). I had VERY unfriendly reactions to both shots as well. Still, I did it and will continue as long as no clear data pops up showing serious, negative side effects. However, I still believe each person has the fundamental right to refuse putting something into their body and I don't see how you can force anyone to do so. As long as that is the case, the virus WILL be politicized EVERY SINGLE TIME numbers spike!

    "Extra" Matches

I would guess that most programs will go back to Red Shirting guys who are not in the lineup if a RS is available. That will greatly reduce those who can participate in the extra matches.
