    US trials upset predictions

It is weird since he is going to be the #1 seed, but absolutely no one is taking Graff at 61kg, so that is my upset pick. Also, really hoping to see a Graff/Gross matchup at some point in this tournament. I'm from Wisconsin, so I like the Badger vs Badger aspect, but also just the style matchup of two high-volume shooters would be a lot of fun.

everybody has a world medal. Youth, Junior or U23. A. Yazdani never made the junior team. he has a world cadet silver, Sarlak lost when he was on the junior team but has a U23 bronze, Ghasempour is also a 2 time World U23 Champion. everybody else has a World junior medal

    Vito Arujau tests Postive

I’m not believing Vito walks around heavier than Yianni. Not saying impossible, but doesn’t pass the sniff test to me.

    Vito Arujau tests Postive

Vito's losses to Austin Gomez are another good example. Vito came out smoking on offense in those matches, building a big lead, then gassing and getting beat late. If Vito ever had a top-end gas tank, he'd be extremely tough to beat. As it stands, he susceptible to guys (albeit very good ones) who can push a high pace for an entire match.

As a Badger fan from Colorado I would have liked to have seen Tom Clum make a team. Go Graff!

I'm terribly disappointed that we may have missed the only chance to see Sidakov/Dake but as a consolation prize I hope we get to see a Dake/ Kadzimahamedau Kadimagomedov rematch

I know Goleij is the ugly one (even though he has a good chance to medal) no chance for Sarlak and A. Yazdani. and very slim chance for Elahi, Emami and Nokhodi (unless they receive a good draw) you can consider all of them as "bad" and the rest are good !

That's a shame. They have a good team and he could have made them better. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

I think Moore is quite a bit better than Hidlay. Also, if you think Hidlay is top 3, you've got him above Gadson and Myles Martin. You said upsets, so kudos to you for picking a good one. Which win for Zain at 70 would be an upset? He can definitely lose, but there isn't anyone in the bracket that would be a shock for him to beat.

Via my Russian friend, as of a couple weeks ago... Sidakov probably wasn't going. Sadulaev probably was. Uguev still hadn't decided. He also said that Kadimagomedov was planning on not going, but Jon has him going his list.

Bo Nickal is legitimately the second best guy at 3 weights: 86, 92, 97. What a bummer.

Thanks for this, Jon. This is the type of content that has been missing since Nomad left and you seem way less creepy. Keep up the good work.
