Maybe the front page of the site of the forum you are reading? TheMat, UWW, Flo … well, those are three of the biggest wrestling sites in the world. IndianaMat, major news outlets retweeting the info on social platforms, my daily wrestling newsletter … if you were looking for it and didn’t see it, what do you actually look for on a daily basis? I’m asking sincerely, since if people can’t find this easily, then maybe someone’s doing something wrong. Cause it should have been impossible to not read the brothers line by most.

    NIL Facts

I have no idea how accurate any of these numbers are. But I think it's pretty clear that a very small percentage of D1 athletes will get nearly all the NIL money. Thus to state the averages is misleading in that it hides that a few guys may earn substantial sums while most will earn zero.

Google takes time to index. Go to the source. If you expect the internet to spoon feed you, wait a few more years. It’s pretty tough to have missed this even if you do the most basic of web crawls - google won’t answer everything the same day. Most heavy internet users should already know this. But I guess if you can’t google something and a result doesn’t show from a story within the last 24 hours, the site is broken? Don’t give up! You can do it!

    Seabass to 125

As far as I know - these would have been the most likely candidates to make an impression at 125: 1) Brett Ungar (Cornell Greyshirt) 2) Richie Figueroa (ASU redshirt) 3) Gary Steen (PSU starter unless Suriano joins)

    Seabass to 125

I fully agree and expect him to be at 33 but.... As far as NCAA expectations go, 33 or 41 I don't see much of a change in Championship probability. I think 41 would be more beneficial to his international career (which he may not pursue) but yeah as far as team construct would go. I'd prefer them both in the line up.

    Seabass to 125

After missing weight least year, I think I remember Goodale said that Alvarez would never be at 133 again - because he has actually grown a little (I think even in height) since starting college. Given Alvarez is may be the third best wrestler on the team after Seabass and Jon Poz, I would think they would like to ensure all three are able to start. Alvarez going up to 149 is a big jump and would displace Van Brill or someone else - probably not good for the roster. I would be shocked if we saw Seabass at any weight other than 133 this season. edit: I just took a look at the official Rutgers roster page for 2022 and it seems to reflect nothing of what I have written above. Could be they are just waiting to update or I am just flat out wrong

    92 Kg

I don't know why everybody assumes Ghasempour will stay at 92kg! his normal bodyweight is something around 88kg. yes he did great and beat guys 5-6kg (or probably more) heavier than himself but I don't think that's what he wants. I won't be surprised if he tries 86kg next year. he is not afraid of Yazdani and he proved that before. and 92kg won't be easy for him domestically. remember he lost a match to Ebrahimi during the trials. (but beat him twice to make the team) and we also have Karimi who can beat and dominate anybody in the world (except Cox of course) Kamran had to try 92kg this year because when he lost to Yazdani at the Olympic trials that also cost him a spot in the Worlds in his weight. we still don't know about his next year's plan. If I have to predict right now, I would say between Karimi, Yazdani and Ghasempour two of them will go the worlds at 86 and 92 and the other one will wrestle at the Asian Games at 86kg. (Ebrahimi probably disagrees with my prediction)

    92 Kg

This won't happen. He's the reigning 86kg olympic champ. Why move up to a non Olympic weight with a tough stylistic match up domestically and a guy that could usurp him potentially in Kamran. At 86kg he owns the weight domestically and currently is pretty much guaranteed a final position with him and Yaz. And the one loss to Yaz won't push him out. It will motivate him to try and beat him. Momentum is with Yaz of course. So yeah. Not happening haha. I imagine his main goal now is to be double olympic champ

    NIL Issues in Happy Valley?

Could be popular with youth who look up to the college guys. I was pretty excited to get my John Smith Adidas Mat Wizards back in the day

    New HS WT Class Options

Not really, if there is a double forfeit then you need more tiebreakers. P.S. There are no "perfect" set of weight classes and no one will be able to convince me otherwise. Everyone will always see things from their team's perspective and think that would lead to the best weight classes. The simple fact is weight classes aren't the reason for the increase in forfeits, it's because coaches aren't building their programs up to have a sufficient amount of kids in the program.
