Suriano, Fix and Lee are as good if not better than most AA's this year.  The three have split matches and time will tell who has the better career but agree the only wrestler I'd have favored over any of the three this year is Gilman.  Will be fun to watch these three battle it out over next few year.  Joey Silva is one to watch too but I think he ends up bigger.  Junior worlds is usually a good barometer for college success.

Don't have an issue with them reporting on it either. They are in the business of "getting clicks" and some of their headlines are meant to do just that. However, didn't Husker go after Mark Palmer specifically for this type of reporting a little while back?

LongShot got a reaction from Bucksfan in prime B. Saitiev vs. prime Burroughs: who wins?
I guess you could say there are a lot of similarities between Monday and Burroughs as well.  Saitiev handled Monday but that wasn't Monday at his best.  Also, Monday played around with Saitiev's upper body skills which was a big mistake and one Burroughs wouldn't make.  JB would have the same present day ability to scout and prepare as well.  This one would be tight.

Molinaro.  What can you say.  He somehow navigated the minefield and came out on top this weekend.  I happen to think our shot at medaling the weight went down the tubes with that but I'll still be pulling for the guy.  I did really enjoy the s*it eating grin, sign of the cross, straight to a nut grab after his Metcalf win.  Seems somewhat conflicting, no?

I don't know enough about the scoring to answer this correctly but IF Tomasello won, Micah made the finals (just sidenote, he did beat Heil twice in HS) and Bo makes the final.  Do they win?  Because I'm not so sure that was too far from happening.  I guess you also have to take into account that if you wrestle that tournament 10x, Myles wins once and Snyder probably 7/10.  so you'd have to take that into account as well.  Lot would have to go their way.

    1. Dierenger -Jordans are both good but AD gets his third title.  If I had to put $100 on any one person to win it'd be him.
    2. Dean - He was a favorite last year and came through.  Don't see one loss changing an otherwise dominant season at the weight.
    3. Nolf - I've watched his match with a IMAR a few times and each time I get less of a feeling that this was a fluke.  Nobody has touched this guy.
    4. Retherford - Completely dominant but still some talent to get through at the weight.  Especially if Tsirtsis regains any form.
    5. Nickal - I just get the impression this kid turns it up biggest when it matters.  He's a matchup nightmare for everyone and only getting better.
    6. Garrett - He'll have his hands full in that bracket.  I bet against him.
    7. Gwiz - I think the match with Snyder is a toss-up if not a slight advantage to Snyder.  Snyder will have the tougher road to finals though.
    8. Tomasello - Has nothing to do with disrespecting Tomasello. He's really really good.  But so are Megaludis, Gilman and Dance.
    9. McIntosh - Hartmann has his number when it counts so he'll have to avoid him and then find a way to beat Cox when it counts.  Don't see it.
    10. Heil - Good work so far but this weight is as wide open as it gets.

If you look at the last 25 years, top seeds win about 50% of the time.

I believe he was gassed and quit once he was on his back.  And their next matchup will be much different.  The only guy I think that MAY have lost on purpose is when Caldwell got blown out by Metcalf in the All Star.  And if he did, it was damn brilliant.

Correct.  Unfortunate situation and I don't blame Adrassy for not keeping track of the score.  Crazy match and NCAA ultimately is to blame.  But his "whoa is me I tried to check the score" explanation doesn't quite fly either because if he was on top of the score he never lets the match continue and never lets miller walk away.

Happens in NFL.  Missed call by ref, no challenge, game resumes with blown call.  Little different but if Realbuto knew he was down by 1 does it change his strategy?  If yes, than its not as simple as Miller won.  Because the direction of the match had changed.  My view, Realbuto broke Miller and was winning that match no matter if he was tied or down by 1 at that point.  Can see the outrage but only a few people are acknowledging this angle.

But boo'ing Realbuto??  Classless.  Did he even have the option of giving the win and advancement to Miller?
