  1. Kenai Peninsula in August. Starting out in Homer. Still waiting on the itinerary. I may head out a couple days early. I enjoy wildlife photography. This trek is not so conducive to it, so I'd like to get out on my own, hang out and photograph some Grizzlies! Good chance that opportunity may not come around again any time soon.
  2. Funny to hear him described - pretty much another Rob Koll, which makes sense given he is part of Koll's coaching tree. Both administrators with great assistants, both teams play a great role in developing their talent.
  3. Many of you probably remember me making a similar request a couple of years ago. I'm a former Cornell wrestler who had the misfortune of being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma several years ago. It is an incurable blood cancer, but I am fortunate to be faring well. Others are not so fortunate which is why I am partaking in a fundraiser for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF), raising money to help them find a cure. A couple years ago I partook in an arduous 10 day trek to Patagonia with my wife in order to raise money. Many of you in the wrestling community graciously contributed to the cause. This year, I am off to Alaska, where there will be more Grizzlies than people!! Please note, the cost of the trips are covered by corporate sponsors. 100% of what I raise goes towards research. Any help is greatly appreciated. Click the link below and it will take you to the fundraiser, where you can learn more about this insidious disease. Thank you! http://give.share-a-link.top/613lcbgf
  4. That was a very sad situation. And yes, he was an incredible young man and put up an incredible fight. With regard to my reference, this is all about Multiple Myeloma, and others who suffer from it. AS I said, I'm doing well, but many are not. I believe average life expectancy is 4-5 years. I'm 4 in, but all signs indicate I should be around for a long time!! Odds are my wife will kill me before this does!! Thanks,
  5. Clearly you missed the Pterodactyl! That would be a totally different ecosystem! Thanks

  7. Looked great today - probably at his best, yet.
  8. Same goes for his match with Green. It's like he's at another level? Looked great this tournament.
  9. Geez, went to watch the replay on Flo. With the exception of Yianni and Green's final match (great match for Yianni, BTW), they have full day mat videos....for instance, a 9 hour video of matches on Mat A....Good luck finding what you are looking for!!
  10. Sure as day. I like his rationale....or shall I say, "common sense?"
  11. Not going to bet the house, but I'd bet none the less. Huge fan as well.
  12. Askren is a wrestler, damnit, a wrestler with the heart of a lion that will refuse to lose to this punk! Therefor, he will win. Take my word.
  13. So, are you guys differentiating throws from trips? In my book, a throw is not a trip or a sweep. Trips and sweeps are far less risky. Or are you all treating them as one and the same?
  14. Can anyone explain the scoring of their last scramble? Looked to me as if Henderson should have received 2, which he did, but they gave Ashnault 1, which proved to be the winning score.
  15. Looked more like a scrimmage of sorts... ?
  16. Has the University even commented on the $10M? As someone stated earlier, they originally took the position that regardless of fundraising success, they were going to drop the program. Have they changed their position, or even indicated that they may?

Vito looking damn good as well!
  18. Betsy has another article on Bigredbears.com, " What's a Senior to do - Hunter Richard." Interesting perspective. Check it out!
  19. I think there have been far more cases than is being let on.
  20. I predict, if there is a season, it will be an absolute disaster.
  21. Actually Wrestlingknownothing had suggested it prior to my post....
  22. Sorry, missed the prior suggestion. Not looking to steal anyone's thunder!
  23. Yianni vs. Lee might be interesting.
