  1. I guess I also should have mentioned that Cal Poly has ZERO finalists. Yet the Mustangs are only 2 1/2 points behind Oregon State in the team standings at this point Oregon State - 81.5 points Cal Poly - 79 points
  2. Hard to not root for the guy who is undefeated.
  3. https://s3.amazonaws.com/sidearm.sites/asu.sidearmsports.com/documents/2020/3/6/2020_Pac_12_Brackets.pdf I just printed the brackets and filled them in as the tournament went along.
  4. Hard as it may be for some to believe Stanford actually has more finalists than Arizona State at the 2020 PAC 12 wrestling tournament. In fact Stanford has 8 of their 10 guys in the finals and Arizona State has only 6. Oregon State has 3 finalists and CS Bakersfield has 2 and Little Rock has 1. Yet Arizona State leads in the team scores after the first three rounds. All six of the Arizona State finalists will face a Stanford opponent in the finals. And Arizona State COULD win all six of those matches. Or five of six if Sheilds loses to Griffith again. 2020 PAC 12 FINALISTS Stanford - (EIGHT) - Di Sario (125) - Woods (141) - van der Merwe (149) - Eischens (157) - Griffith (165) - Hill (174) - Traxler (197) - Showunmi (285) Arizona State - (SIX) - Courtney (125) - Teemer (157) - Shields (165) - A. Valencia (174) - Norfleet (197) - Hall (285) Oregon State - (THREE) - Turner (133) - Willits (141) - Doyle (184) CS Bakersfield - (TWO) - Rohlfing (149) - Loomer (184) Little Rock - (ONE) - Bianchi (133) 125 lbs - Courtney (ASU) vs. Di Sario (Stanford) 133 lbs - Turner (OSU) vs. Bianchi (Little Rock) 141 lbs - Real Woods (Stanford) vs. Grant Willits (OSU) 149 lbs - Require van der Merwe (Stanford) vs. Russell Rohlfing (CSB) 157 lbs - Jacori Teemer (ASU) vs. Tyler Eischens (Stanford) 165 lbs - Shane Griffith (Stanford) vs. Josh Shields (ASU) 174 lbs - Anthony Valencia (ASU) vs. Jared Hill (Stanford 184 lbs - Colt Doyle (OSU) vs. Josh Loomer (CSB) 197 lbs - Kordell Norfleet (ASU) vs. Nathan Traxler (Stanford) 285 lbs - Tanner Hall (ASU) vs. David Showunmi (Stanford) P.S. And one of the Stanford 10 starters (Gabe Townsell at 133 lbs) had to forfeit out of the tournament. The only other Stanford starter who didn't make the finals was Foster Karmon who moved up a weight from 174 lbs to 184 lbs and Karmon will also have an Arizona State opponent when he competes for 3rd place at 184 lbs vs. Cade Belshay.
  5. Yep...............no audio AGAIN...................I guess the lesson is if you want something to be done VERY poorly - have Stanford do it.
  6. It also says that " Live results can be found at Pac-12.com/wrestlingchamps" yet I can see nothing on that webpage where you can get live results.
  7. I now have both - but only because I used the links found on the Arizona State website. The links provided on the Stanford website were not working so I closed them down. But so far there is no audio at all - just like their home dual wrestling matches.
  8. I've checked several times lately and with about 20 minutes to go before the start of the 2020 PAC 12 wrestling tournament the webpages for the video of both mats keeps saying " There is no livestream on this channel starting within the next hour. Here's the schedule for the Stanford livestreams." And there are NO WRESTLING live streams scheduled on the schedule.

  11. Stanford's team lineup is a bit off of what they have been going with - at 184 lbs particularly as they had been going with true freshman Nick Addison at 184 lbs. Looks like Jared Hill will be Stanford's starter at 174 lbs and Foster Karmon will be the starter at 184 lbs instead of Addison. 15. Well let's see now............TODAY is the 5th and TODAY is Thursday...............the PAC 12 tournament is on the 7th, i.e., TWO days from today. So that would make it Saturday. Have to keep in mind that this is being handled by the genius' at Stanford. The same genius who have had their wrestling duals this year with NO SOUND, NO COMMENTATORS and a DRUNKEN MONKEY working the camera for their webcast. No big surprise (to me) that they can't even get the day right for a tournament they are hosting.
  16. https://s3.amazonaws.com/sidearm.sites/asu.sidearmsports.com/documents/2020/3/4/How_to_Watch_2020_Wrestling_Championships.pdf I tried to insert the above as a link here but it apparently won't work like that. So copy and paste and go at the top of your browser. The ONLY session that will be televised is the Finals - scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. MT (6 p.m PT). And that will be televised on the PAC 12 Bay Area channel according to this guide. I already checked my SlingTV guide and found it - and scheduled it to be recorded at 7 p.m. MT on Saturday. All other sessions can be watched online at the PAC 12.com webpage. However if I recall correctly they have two mats and only televise one of the two matches with occasional shots on the other mat.
  17. As I mentioned in a post here a few days ago the seeding for the PAC 12 tournament is done the night before the tournament begins when the PAC 12 coaches get together and hash it out as to who is seeded where at each weight class. So - at the EARLIEST - the seeding won't be released until Friday NIGHT. Or at least that is the way it was always done in the past. If they changed the process then I'm not aware of it.
