  1. Whenever I have tried I get this message https://user-media-prod-cdn.itsre-sumo.mozilla.net/uploads/gallery/images/2019-03-11-10-35-01-7dc26c.png
  2. Your animus towards the smaller schools who are struggling to compete against the monopolistic five conferences is curious. I would imagine if you were living in the time of Goliath that you would be among the crowd cheering Goliath on against David.
  3. Yep - the two-faced jerk who IS/was Bob Kustra just summarily said "you're done". At the same time that the first year Boise State wrestling coaches were hosting about a half a dozen wrestling recruits. No notice, no warning, no reason cites, and most of all................NO CLASS.........KUSTRA. I suggest that he be referred to from now on as NO CLASS KUSTRA.
  4. Maybe you've seen it but I've never seen a case where a guy remains on a wrestling team's roster for TWO full years without wrestling even ONE time. I only asked about him initially because I wondered if he was finally going to return to the Cal Poly lineup for 2021.
  5. Well thanks for that response. I appreciate it.
  6. Does ANYONE know what his situation is at this point? He is STILL listed on Cal Poly's roster yet he has not competed - at all - since the 2018 PAC 12 tournament where he lost 9-4 to Kordell Norfleet of Arizona State and beat the 2019 PAC 12 champion Bob Coleman of Oregon State (6-2) at 184 lbs. It appears as if he did not compete AT ALL during the 2018-2019 season and did not compete at all during the 2019-2020 season either. Yet he is STILL on the Cal Poly roster?
  7. It must be so very difficult for you to go thru life without even so much as a glimmer of a clue.
  8. Well, I guess I can take solace in the fact that Idaho has not reached the New Jersey level of absurdity YET. I've been going to my local grocery stores every week or so and less than half of the people in the store (on my last trip) were NOT wearing a mask of any kind (I was as I'm a Senior). Included in the non-mark wearers was a very rotund woman who was hacking and coughing repeatedly - and she just so happened to be just ahead of me at the check out counter. I turned to the guy behind me (who like me was wearing a mask) and told him "I'm not getting ANYWHERE near that woman - I'm waiting till she leaves the store to go to the check stand". He replied with "I don't blame you".
  9. The Magic 8 Ball says "Outlook not so good". If he is back next season at Stanford I would have to think they would redshirt him. It was a bit unfair of them to have him start as a True Freshman last season IMO. He would have been better off redshirting. Seems the coaching staff didn't figure out that they could have had Hill or Karmon at 184 lbs rather than Addison. They apparently didn't figure that out until the PAC 12 tournament. As to the Stay Home order here in Idaho people are opposing it with defiance here. A local bar in Nampa is defying it by opening back up this weekend. A local woman was deliberately arrested (her choice) by trying to be in a local park that was closed by the local government. A large group of people gathered outside the Capitol Building in Boise to protest this (illegal) action by the Governor last week, etc. I - personally - think the whole thing is ridiculously absurd and the actions by the government (all over the U.S.) have done FAR more harm than any good that will ever come from their foolishly short-sighted actions. All government officials should follow the examples of Sweden and the State of Florida.
  10. Thanks - I'm just trying to kill time during the B.S. that is the "stay home" order here in my home State (Idaho). I'm doing these PAC 12 team previews in the order of how each school placed at the 2020 PAC 12 tournament. Next up is Cal State Bakersfield and then Oregon State. Not sure I'm going to do Cal Poly or Little Rock.
  11. I didn't include Harlan because he hasn't competed since February of 2019.
  12. Thanks for catching those typo errors.
  13. STANFORD The Stanford wrestling team has finished either 1st or 2nd at the annual PAC 12 wrestling tournament three of the last four seasons. The Cardinal finished 2nd in 2020, 1st in 2019, 4th in 2018 and 2nd in 2017. In 2020 Stanford had two PAC 12 wrestling champions and both of them were underclassmen. Namely Real Woods at 141 lbs and Shane Griffith at 165 lbs. In addition to their two returning PAC 12 champions Stanford also has five returning starters who placed 2nd at the 2020 PAC 12 tournament. Specifically the following: 125 lbs - Jackson DiSario (2021 True Sophomore) - 2020 PAC 12 runner-up at 125 lbs 149 lbs - Requir van der Merwe (2021 RS Senior) - 2020 PAC 12 runner-up at 149 lbs 157 lbs - Tyler Eischens (2021 RS Sophomore) - 2020 PAC 12 runner-up at 157 lbs 174 lbs - Jared Hill (2021 RS Senior) - 2020 PAC 12 runner-up at 174 lbs 197 lbs - Nathan Traxler (2021 RS Senior) - 2020 PAC 12 runner-up at 197 lbs These seven returning Stanford wrestlers who finished last season either 1st or 2nd at the 2020 PAC 12 tournament make the Cardinal the most probable PAC 12 team to place 2nd at the 2021 PAC 12 wrestling tournament and possibly challenge Arizona State for the team title. ============================= The probable lineup for Stanford's wrestling team for the 2021 season is as follows: (Returning Starters are listed in Bold print. 14. I was going to include Brady Gilliland-Daniel at 285 lbs (where he started for ASU year before last) but last I checked he's no longer on the ASU team roster.
  15. Thanks - I appreciate you mentioning this. I've been wondering what his class year will be for quite a while.
  16. Thanks. I put Raimo at both 125 lbs and 133 lbs because Zeke Jones said Raimo would be moving up to 133.
  17. Just something I put together during my forced internment in my own home the last month or so. Corrections are welcome on this. ARIZONA STATE Arizona State has won three of the last four PAC 12 wrestling tournaments and will almost certainly be, barring a slew of injuries or unseen events, the favorite to win the PAC 12 tournament again in 2021. Primarily because the Sun Devils return four of their five 2020 PAC 12 weight class champions. The only 2020 PAC 12 champion from Arizona State who won't be returning is Tanner Hall at 285 lbs. The four 2020 PAC 12 wrestling champs who will be returning for the Sun Devils are: 125 lbs - Brandon Courtney - 2021 RS Junior (25-5) 157 lbs - Jacori Teemer - 2021 RS Sophomore (17-5) 174 lbs - Anthony Valencia - 2021 RS Senior (22-6) 197 lbs - Kordell Norfleet - 2021 Senior OR RS Junior (14-3) The Sun Devils also will have two wrestlers who placed 3rd at the 2020 PAC 12 tournament returning in Cory Crooks who placed 3rd at 141 lbs and Cade Belshay who placed 3rd at 184 lbs. Belshay is projected to return at 184 lbs in 2021 (he dropped down late last season from 197 lbs after Zahid Valencia was suspended). Crooks will be a RS Senior and is projected to move up to 149 lbs in 2021. Belshay will be a RS Junior for the 2021 season. ============================= The probable lineup for Arizona State's wrestling team for the 2021 season is as follows. Returning Starters are listed in Bold print. Of couse this is all subject to change as some wrestlers may move up (or down) from their present weight class and there may be transfers involved which would affect this probable lineup in the next few months. 18. Just about ANY match involving Arizona State's Jacori Teemer.
  19. That is about what I made of it as well - which is why I used APPEARS in all caps.
  20. I found this spread sheet of Penn State's wrestlers on "The Wrestling Room" (Penn State fan page) which APPEARS to indicate Richard Figueroa is headed to Penn State (even tho they incorrectly listed him as being from Arizona it seems) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XYdy4R8y8ZNut76jD1_8Y9Gv3o1cHqu4bIOtR0Vekfo/edit#gid=0
  21. I had both Valencia and Munoz at both 165 and 174 on another post. As I understood Zeke Jones' comments on that 50 minute video those two and Teemer were "working it out" as to who would be where. But thanks for the clarification. I would think the Senior would stay at his weight and the RS Freshman would be the one to drop down. Oh well.
  22. Another great addition for the Sun Devils. Vasquez COULD very well be ASU's starter at 149 lbs for 2021. And he fills one of the two most pressing areas of need for ASU, i.e., 149 and 165. I could easily see Arizona State's 2021 lineup being the following: 125 - Brandon Courtney - 2021 RS Junior - 2020 PAC 12 champion 133 - Michael McGee - 2021 RS Junior - Two-time MAC champion (2018 & 2019) 141 - Julian Chlebove - 2021 RS Freshman 149 - Jesse Vasquez - 2021 True Freshman 157 - Jacori Teemer - 2021 RS Sophomore - 2020 PAC 12 champion 165 - Trey Munoz - 2021 RS Freshman 174 - Anthony Valencia - 2021 RS Senior 184 - Cade Belshay - 2021 RS Junior 197 - Kordell Norfleet - 2021 Senior? or RS Junior? 285 - Cohlton Schultz - 2021 RS Freshman
  23. I agree totally. Back in "my day" a verbal COMMITMENT meant exactly that........a COMMITMENT. Today I think the term should be changed from a Verbal COMMITMENT to a Verbal MAYBE. That, at the very least, would be more accurate in reference to today's youth.
  24. I wouldn't know about Flo as I'll never subscribe to Flo again but he is NOT listed as an ASU commit on Intermat https://intermatwrestle.com/recruiting/commitments?sort=college&sort_dir=up#tab He's also NOT listed as an ASU commit on The Open Mat https://news.theopenmat.com/college-wrestling-commitments Yet, oddly, he IS listed as an ASU commit on PINFALL https://www.pinfallrecruiting.com/commits-male
