Push out rule = objective institutionalized stalling, not wrestling.Subjective stalling calls at least retain the possibility of promoting actual wrestling.

Which rules? 1992 or 1996 or 2000 or 2004 or 2008 or 2012 or current? Or some of the iterations in between? Ones that involve winning 2 of 3 rounds? Ball grab/ coin flip into cinch? One that encourages intentionally forcing opponent out of bounds (cost Dake. Had he tried to keep Cox in and converts TD he probably wins, but he hasn't been working to keep opponent in bounds).

No, not even close. Banach (maybe 210) shooting under Tab Thacker (around 400), and scoring. Bielenberg (220ish) shooting under Jimmy Jackson (340ish). Howard Harris (under 200) pinning his way through the unlimited class. Jim Hagen (195) vs Chris Taylor (450?). These were David vs Goliath.
Very good come back, but he isn't a 174 lber. I'm not sure he can make 197 ever again.

For profit schools mission is profit, for shareholders and management. I read that the head (CEO?) of DeVry (another for profit) made almost fifty times what the chancellor of Illinois made a year or two ago.

For profits can form their own athletic association. They don't belong in the NCAA at any level.

That's too bad. The Olympics tried (and still may be trying) to eliminate us from the programme. And their threat of number reductions (which have happened) along with elimination threat is what drove the eternally changing bastardized rules that made the sport unwatchable, not understandable, and barely better than coin flip competition. The WC wasn't going to end, but the olympic$ tried to end wrestling. Best not to forget that. Frankly wrestling, as a sport, might have been better off not trying to satisfy the commercial interest that is the olympic$ and governing itself.

Youre missing SHPs point. There was no disadvantage in keeping wrestling while moving up for UNO. Only contrived excuses and lies. But when those who are in power are the ones spouting them it doesnt matter. The result will be what was predetermined. This is why now possibly is the time to get involved in influencing just how a new sport is incorporated into the existing structure with little/no disruption.
On the plus side, those at Mizzu who still harbor a hope for a B1G invite will note every member wrestles. And did when invited. Don't know if Loftin cares about that though.

Some sports also hold a world championship in an olympic year. Sports that are higher profile than wrestling or boxing.

We've used the Olympics as our world championships once every four years. This is an inversion of priorities - valuing the venue (olympics) over the event. One more case of the Olympic$, and it's commercial interests usurping and distorting the things that made it popular and successful in the first place. If this passes it shows that FILA merely changed its hair color but is still the IOC sicophants that brought us tennis sets, pushouts, cinches, shot clocks, "almost takedowns", and ball grabs...

Teaching cheating? Not respectable in my view. I saw a HS clinic where a guest clinician was teaching stall tactics and the organizers and HS coaches in attendance called him out on it after it became clear he wasn't just demonstrating situations to be aware of, and how to over come stalling tactics, but was promoting their use. He was asked to leave.

I understand you don't want to discourage offensive attacks that may accidentally cause an offensive leg foul by penalizing like you do defensive leg foul, but there needs to be something. Right now there is very little to no risk (assuming the elevator was necessary to score) and great reward if it goes undetected.

Foul. Undetected, and also unnecessary. Looked to have the torque to complete without the R foot elevator.
