  1. Good luck Cary... Many people on here just don't understand the recruiting issues you dealt with at UNC. But for those of you that have never seen Cary do a clinic, if you ever get a chance you should. He is hands down from what I've seen the best clinician. Its like when he crosses over that line from the hall into the room something happens to him, and its game on. He just knows wrestling so well at all levels, from elementary to international and understands just about every issue a wrestler deals with. He is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to the sport. I love his story about the Mongolian taking a shower when worlds were being held in Siberia I believe. Its stories like that, that just let you know *Wow this guy has seen just about all of it. I wish him the very best, because he really deserves it. Also any wrestler that goes to Campbell now that cary will be in full control of HIS OWN PROGRAM. You can't go wrong. In time many of the bashers on here will eat their words. JMHO.

    Tom Ryan

I watched what he did at Hofstra now Ohio State- the guy is the real deal.....
  3. That's absurd. He was just waiting for when Moore would decide to wrestle and when he decided to - He got Teched. Go figure.
  4. English was 15 and 4 during the 2010/11 season with wins over Cory Jansen (#8) and Brandon Radar (#9). His losses were 6-4 to Joey Napoli, 3-1 sv to Mario Mason, 4-0 to Kyle Dake and 4-2 to Loupochanski. He was injured last season and returned this season and currently is 15 and 4 with wins over 2 ranked wrestlers, Shane Welsh and Drake Houdeshelt and has been ranked himself (#16 @149). His losses included 1 pin and close loses to Schmit and Lopuchanski and the 12-6 loss to Oliver. During his Soph year he lost 3 tight matches to Dylan Alton by a total of 5 pts with 2 of those bout going ot. Other than a previous years starter or incoming stud RSing what makes a wrestler more than your "normal back up"?? I don't believe we are putting either English or Vallrath in the stud catagory but both are capable of putting an AA run together witht the right draw. And "IF WISHES WERE HORSES BEGGERS WOULD RIDE"....
  5. I also agree. That was funny and really cool at the same time. Great entertainment, watching two great wrestlers do something comedic yet really athletic. The Ohio State guys seem to have a knack for that stuff.
  6. I posted this before but somehow it was deleted. I thought this was hilarious.... Funny as heck. The picture won't upload - maybe that's what happened. Of course not, we could tell that by the title of your thread. And, unfortunately, it seems this matter was handled internally without issuing a statement that addresses the reasonable issues you raise. I agree that this needs to be corrected and suggest that you send your resume to PSU, asking to replace Mr. Sanderson. As Mr. Dsauer22's post indicates, it's obvious that the head coaches establish the rules for handling these matters. Assuming your resume is as eloquent as your posts in addressing the salient issues of the Alton's situation, I'm sure that PSU officials will promptly give it the type of attention it clearly deserves.

Thanks for the laugh, because that is hilarious.... (Couldnt get the trash can photo back in there.)
  8. I have to say admist all this BS. That I love what Gable has done for our sport and I love the competition that exists between two Gold medalists ( Sanderson and Brands) it reminds me of the Woody Hayes and Schumbacher story. Those guys hated each other so much in competition yet respected each other in competive ways. I believe one was at the other guys bed while he was dying of cancer. This is great for our sport Lets cherish it and enjoy the the fun hate so to speak. It will be talked about for years to come. Gable had no adversary so it makes him one of a kind. I hope Cael does the same but Brands may have a say in this and won't that make it interesting....
  9. Okay relax guys... My boys should not have been there that night very stupid of them. However the incident that happened ended up with Dylan's shirt being ripped off his back and Andrew getting a black eye. Now this I must tell you if they were in offensive mode - damage done would have been much more. They were in defensive mode in this incident when being attacked.

  11. Do you realize that their hometown, Mill Hall, is only 35 miles from Penn State? That being said, they aren't the brightest light bulbs in the shed... I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled a Martellotti. My boys are not going anywhere. The powers that be (National Champ coaches and Olympic Gold Medalist) have made peace with this and set some strict rules along with a punishment beyond what you see or hear - they are being punished beyond what you know. My boys have their work cut out for them now - trust me... They have to abide or they are done completely and no transfer will be allowed. They love Cael, Cody and Casey and know they let everyone down. But if I could tell everyone here the true story I guarantee they would be astonished as to how this has happened. It has been blown way out of proportion. They were warned previously about this trouble and the female involved. I think now they understand there are consequences to be dealt with. I wish so bad I was back in LBNY and not in this small town..... But there GPA is pretty good lu-alum so I don't know who you are - like most you hide behind an internet name and cower as a coward does when laying blame and insults on two young boys who have done so much community service and help with special olympics, visited sick kids in the hospital and done many clinics for free at youth clubs. Why do so many in our sport hate when we are struggling a great deal on a collegiate level. I can only think but one thing - YOU HAVE NO IDEA AT ALL ABOUT THIS SPORT AND THE GREAT PEOPLE INVOLVED AT ALL LEVELS. Go ahead now and attack back - but I dare you to email your real name and address at altonmortgage@gmail.com Maybe then we can discuss this matter face to face at some wrestling tournament in the future.
  12. That is funny............ Hotel California (California in latin means hot furnace = hell haha!!!!) But I do love the guys from FLO I'm sure they will release it if you your diligent enough in the process to cancel Credit card world on the internet is what it is - remember that going forward Try cancel method before you sign up to see what its like to bail afterwards. Worst case scenario go to Credit card company and dispute charge before next charge occurs
  13. In a word ... MONEY! Another word that comes to mind is LAWSUIT! (which really boils down to MONEY). Penn State generates a lot of revenue and exposure for the B1G and the issue of jurisdiction would open them to lawsuits. Also, punishing PSU because of what Sandusky did and because of poor handling of the problem by an administration that has since been replaced and/or is now dead does not fix the problem and would do more harm than good. PSU is in the process of implementing new procedures to avoid this type of thing from ever happening again and has held accountable all who were involved in the horrible coverup. Why punish student athletes from all sports, PSU fans, Big Ten fans and hurt B1G revenue when the answer requires changes that are already being implemented? Have to say I agree with skikayaker here. The Man is dead, his statue is gone and his legacy destroyed. There is a lot of work for the new staff to build this back up. President and AD both gone. Some punishment is due, but death penalty or being removed from Big Ten is hurting the wrong people. The athletes had nothing to do with this. I hope O'Briens Lions get started right away and everyone moves on. It's disgusting what happened to the many victims but there war goes on still in another way and I beleve they will all be well taken care of. That doesn't mean they will ever forget the horrible things sandusky did to them, but it should ease the pain as time goes on. The University will never let anything like this ever happen again. It should also be a reminder to all parents out there Never Ever trust anyone with your kids period. Teach them as soon as you can to keep an eye on the wicked ways of this world. There are too many Wolves in sheep's clothing. Just my two cents...
