  2. Every student (wrestler and nonwrestler) at BeCaHi is a transfer by that definition, as there is no feeder system to speak of for that school. You are wrong, Pirate. Bethlehem Catholic has an elementary wrestling program (K through 6). They were runner-up in the Valley Elementary Wrestling League to champion Northampton. 1. Northampton 171 points 2. Bethlehem Catholic 141.5 3. Forks Twp. 139 (Easton) 4. Palmer Twp. 138 (Easton) 5. Whitehall 105
  3. Ah yes, I'm glad you posted. Was waiting for you leave your mom's basement and ask her to give you a ride to the local public library to use their internet. Willie, how about "The Trolls" who bring nothing of substance to the forums, but love to hate on wrestlers they have never seen in person, since they don't leave their mommy's basement?
  4. Wouldn't expect anything less from a salty, Chance-hater.
  5. Umm...Last I checked Iowa has Kurt Backes, a 2x AA and NCAA finalist, coaching the upper-weights. If you were at NCAA's, Backes was in the corner with Tom or Terry for almost all weight classes, not just the upper's. Backes deserves to be the 2nd paid assistant, with M* being moved to volunteer.

  7. CMU will be just fine at 197, don't worry about that weight. He is not on the roster yet, though. The 285 starter could be a true freshman, so the youngster will be thrown to the wolves out of the gate.
  8. Marsteller dec. 3-2 Ottinger at NHSCA club duals in May '11, an offseason event.
  9. Marsteller beat Mike Ottinger of Parkland H.S. (now the starter at Central Michigan) He was the 3A, 160lb. state champion at 160 in '11.
  10. ^^^^This guy knows Howe is on a medical redshirt, but he has to troll... I would nominate Peter Yates of Virginia Tech to oppose Dake if Taylor is out with an injury.
  11. He lost to Matt Kyler of Clearfield. Kyler was a HUGE 103 that season and Oliver was tiny weighing in at 97 or 98 pounds. Kyler handled Oliver in that match, too. 5-0 was the final score
  12. The match is Saturday, November 3 at 7:30pm.
  13. Hodgkins had a neck injury. He still has not perfected his fundamentals, but is making progress. He should win the spot at 141 if he is healthy.
  14. Earl, Hodgkins wrestled his senior year at 145. The cut to 141 should not be a problem. The concern is his health after off-season surgery this past Spring. Also, Stephen Dwyer is assistant coach in his third year with the school. Steve Brown is no longer on staff.
  15. Central Michigan will be BETTER this year: 125 - Joe Roth: MAC Champ, 1-2 record at NCAA's 133 - Scotti Sentes: returning after a redshirt. 2x All-American, 2x MAC champion 141- Nick Hodgkins: 22-6 record competing in open tournaments as a redshirt at 149. 149 - Donnie Corby: 2x NCAA qualifier. MAC champ at 157 in '12. Won 2 matches at NCAA's in '11 at 149. 157 - Lucas Smith: 32-8 record in open tournaments while redshirting. 165 - Mike Ottinger: MAC champion and NCAA qualifier as true freshman. 174 - Eric Cubberly or Craig Kelliher 184 - Ben Bennett: 3x All-American and 3x MAC champion. Looking to become school's 1st 4x AA 197 - Jackson Lewis or Kelliher 285 - Jarod Trice: 2x All-American, placed 4th at Olympic Trials, and 2011 Midlands champion.
