  1. 157 is a damn sight far from "decent shape". Hammond should be surfing stubb-hub if plans on being in Cleveland. The Nolf situation and the Clagon situation and the VaTech situation...... Makes for a long weekend in Bakersfield Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk

  5. Early prediction is that 157 will be the most controversial at large selections.Looks like many more deserving wrestlers than spots available Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk
  6. One can only hope they had the foresight to clear the gym after each round and charge for readmission. What a $hitshow Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk

  13. Based on the conference allocation.Weather or not the guy who earned the spot regular season is the guy who earns it at the conference tournament. Ex. 0 steals = everything goes chalk 1 steal (Kuhn) = Kuhn will steal a spot earned by a different wrestler during the B1G tournament from 1 of the 10 available. Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk

  15. Looks like the only guy that might impact the AQs is Gunther. https://wrestlingbypirate.wordpress.com/2018/02/22/ncaa-allocations-and-who-owns-them/ Thanks Pirate Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk
  16. 197 Atienza looked good in his win over Beazley. On da bubble or not I'd like to see him make it hopefully he doesn't need a wild card to make it in. 165 Parks is one that I agree is on da bubble. Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk
  17. this is where you and I see things differently.I believe all original spot qualifiers have met the gold or silver just to qualify the spot. The problems begin if a bunch of gold level guys have turd tournaments. Seems to me every year SHP makes the "hopeful list and if it includes a guy who qualified the spot, that dude gets picked if healthy. Not to mention the bids that sent back into NCAA at large due to weigh-ins/sickness /injuries Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk
  18. Have I missed your picks? Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk

  20. Now you have lost me.Do you understand how this works or not? If, as I suggested that Kuhn "steals" a spot from one of the AQ guys mentioned. Their eligibility wouldn't be in question because..... Wait for it....... They already qualified the spot for the B1G 10 tournament placement allocation. In the years since the change in qualifying traditionally those who had "qualified" an AQ have tended to get favorable consideration for the remaining at-large bids. Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk
  21. Sorry for the confusion. NCAA at-large selection. But, I think you knew what I meant all along and just wanted to show your @ss. Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk
  22. Kuhn could beat Mattin Foley, Welch, or Piotrowski who should have earned bids. Also Oliver or Cray depending on if either one of them qualifies a spot.According to Flo's projections B1G is set to A.Q. 10 spots at 125. If Kuhn beats one of the first four mentioned one of the wild cards would almost certainly go to loser. NC State at 165 and 174 seem like long shots that will need wild cards Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk
  23. Michigan should send all 10 to Cleveland Also, tOSU = 10 Iowa = 8 (only 133 and 174 miss) PSU = 10 (Kuhn will steal a spot) Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk
  24. You may be on to something. Am I giving too much credit to the guys who have beat a very talented Moore or kept it close this year. My bad.On the other hand, I'm not ready to put Moore in the separated from the pack category. Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk
  25. Moore had a less than dominant Cliff Keen Vegas. I would say there is chance the writing has been on the wall he had come back to the pack a bit. Skill wise the best guy doesn't typically lose to the back-up of another conference school. Typically that would be rated 3rd best, skill wise. But hey, I believe my lying eyes and you believe your biased judgment so you're probably right. Sent from my P00I using Tapatalk
