It may be useful to clear thinking and productive discussion to stick to your original thought, which is that a company’s branding should not affect whether people purchase its product.
This may not be the best website for the larger social and political themes.

Jeepers, a wrestling product company shouldn't use its platform to push divisive political rhetoric during times of unrest or it might hurt their business????  CONCEPT!

Almost all of Manhattan is absolutely ravaged?  Worse than 9/11?  Innocent death toll must be at least 3,000 then.  I can’t believe the corrupt media has kept all this from us, and also prevented every single person in NYC from posting about it on social media.

Wow, I didn't know Rowlands started that light.  It's been years since I read Kurt Angle's autobiography, but I think he followed a similar weight trajectory in high school.

Tommy Rowlands was a 125 pounder as a high school freshman and developed into a pretty decent heavyweight, placing 5th in the world at 120 k.  Young man I coached won his first high school state title at 103 as a freshman and ended up a college 197 pounder, placing 3rd and 5th in the Big Ten.  On a personal note, I myself was a terrible wrestler but I wrestled by last high school bout at 112 and my first college bout at 142 (cutting about 8 pounds).  Also, in one year overseas I competed from 57 kilos (125.5) to 74 kilos (163)--I was unafraid to lose at any weight!

Not at the level of these guys already mentioned, but Franklin Gomez has wrestled internationally from 60 kilos to 74 (and I believe did national events at 57).   Chamizo is astounding, though, taking World bronze at 55 and silver at 74.  Bonne has also wrestled anywhere from 57 to 65 with impressive results.

Definitely unqiue, his medal count alone is pretty impressie, but the fact that he did it in both styles makes it amazing

Not gonna badmouth a World and Olympic champion who won clean.  Early matches he showed his explosiveness and ability to score.  Like many finals at this level at this time, these guys had each other totally scouted.  This is obviously not a match to admire for its wild high scoring but rather for the will power and toughness shown by the competitors.  And as mentioned above, a great example of why the push out was needed.

Shawn Nelson is a too-often overlooked coach who very quietly goes about the job of representing the sport with the utmost integrity.  Big congrats.  Even more meaningful that the award is named after Bob Bubb, one the most honorable men in the game.

Didn't Kolodzik burn a redshirt late in the game for his final year of eligibility?  Could be looking back at that for years to come.
And Pletcher, feel for the guy.  Hell, hard not to feel for every competitor in his final year of eligibility.

    Helped:
DT - more time to recover from his major injury Cox - more time to adjust to new weight class, and perhaps add some more bulk Some Young Super Heavyweight (e,g, Parris) to fill the vacuum in the US super heavyweight division Hurt
JB - one of the GOAT if not GOAT is past his prime, and will be further from his prime a year from now Bonus answer, same question for Iran
    Helped
Yazdani - Time to recover from his minor injury, and hopefully to improve his cardio Mohammadian - Has been improving significantly since coming back from suspension, and if he can continue to improve, he will be true top 3 contender Zareh - Has been on whirlwind since getting pinned by Perris, and another year might make a a legitimate medal contender Hurt
Hadi - His career is sunsetting, and what little chance he had of qualifying this year will be reduced to zero

@Abdullahgadzhi Khuzin is great and he did not contribute to qualify in March.  This is data driven, not opinion driven.
