There is IRONY when an OBJECTIVE overview that in the last two years in an All Star match between NJ/NY - NY came away with wins- and - ranked NJ wrestlers were beaten by wrestlers who have never even been mentioned on any Rankings sheet. The SUBJECTIVITY comes when cretons just matter a factly suggest that New Jersey is a better wrestling State. I just say at WHAT WEIGHT and can you give me a name ?? Same goes for D.T vs K.D.....Dake was an underling out of High School and got lucky winning his first NCAA Title...?? LMFAO....more IRONY that he is going for his fourth NCAA Title..lol...He did beat Taylor didnt he ???

Funny, Cornell will have 4 NYS wrestlers in starting rolls- and NJ's Rutgers seems to like New York wrestlers too- add a few at Edinboro.....Buffalo/ Hofstra/ seem to be NY Top heavy. So, I see no IRONY....just being OBJECTIVE.

Lastly, about honoring a POST- and the frame work around a posted bet....If, the Queen had balls she'd be King. If, I was so inclined to make a posted bet as I did....again, then dont read my posts and /or post on them. That is the real IRONY that the NJ clowns continue to post....lol.

USWF. UNITED STATES WRESTLING FOUNDATION. Many people are not familiar with them but they raise a lot of money and have been instrumental in helping start many of the new programs recently. Jeff Waters is the president and the board is filled with many of our greatest wrestlers and coaches.

It's Cory (Corey?) Keener from CMU.  That's who this thread was referencing.

I see a clear top 3 with PSU, tOSU, and Oklahoma State. Okie State returns most of the team and generally have a really solid back-up in the weights where they graduated a senior- except possibly HWT. Michigan, IMO, leads the second tier right now with the guys they red-shirted last year returning to the line-up.

quaker118 reacted to NJDan in I hope Dean Crushes Nickal at the US Open
I've been thinking this over and I hope Dean and Nickal both go to the US Open and that Dean crushes him.

I am convinced that Dean was sick or injured at the NCAAs. His body language starting from the pre-tourney press conference and the dark circles around his eyes says so.

Also, Nickal was really a jerk coming off the mat, lamenting that he did not get "bonus points for my team" before adding that it was OK since they already won the team title.

Bonus points, really? You won by one point, and only did that because a call was overturned in your favor. And then after making that extremely arrogant comment, you go on about Jesus Christ. Didn't Jesus talk about humility. I mean, Jesus Christ!

Dean will win if they meet again.

Separately, seeding the U.S. Open will be interesting. If Cox, Taylor, Nickal and Dean are all there, would Cox be he #1 seed based on his bronze. Or would Taylor pass him based on his World Cup dominance. I guess not. And I guess Nickal would be seeded over Dean. Would anyone else figure is (assuming that Dake is not at 189).

tOSU knows weight training, but 125 to 157 isn't happening. 141 is reasonable for JRod if you bump Hayes and Jordan

This thread was hijacked into a "Does Cornell turn out good wrestlers" when my original post was about comparing two conferences and how not having as difficult of a conference schedule would be detrimental to a wrestler, all other things being equal.

Teams often wrestle flat in the second dual of the weekend. This is even shorter turnaround.

Actually, wrong! Once the brackets came out, I picked him to AA. But, for most of the year I said he was R12 and he won that match by 1 sec of riding time.
