    Darmstadt injury

You didn't say anything that I already didn't know. He already burned one year of eligibility and has 3 years left at a school where is academic clock has already started ticking and has 3.5 years to get a diploma. He misses a season, does he take the spring off? (Of course he could graduate and compete during grad school) Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Did he greyshirt already or was he a true freshman? If he did greyshirt, how does he go about still getting his 4 years of eligibility at a 4.5 year institution? Take the spring semester off? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  3. Pretty sure the new facility was paid for by a wealthy donor. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

No, they just need to re-evaluate what a "student athlete" is. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

No, you can leave out Michigan State, Purdue, Indiana, Northwestern, and Maryland. They are pretty irrelevant anyway. Add Missouri, Lehigh, UNC, Arizona State and always allow a bubble team like South Dakota or Lock Haven in. I think that pretty much wraps up about 92% of division 1. Why I am starting to be in favor of a D1 A and AA division. Let the 20 or so teams fight it out, the other 56 aren't even worth talking about. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Most serious wrestlers are either 19 before they graduate or about to turn 19 after graduation. Heck, I know of quite a few PA kids who will turn 20 before they set foot in a college classroom. If they plan on not redshirting, why defer their enrollment then? It's a mockery. There are schools with wrestling programs that will not allow redshirts or defer enrollments. There are schools that will allow defer enrollments but will not accept taking part time classes because it will start counting towards your 4.5 years to graduate.

Defer enrollment, then a redshirt.... 25 years old at NCAA'S as a senior? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

I think it's between OSU and Iowa with tOSU taking 4th. NC State and Cornell need one more year to be considered part of the conversation. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    Edmond Ruth to Lehigh

Ed senior was pretty rough around the edges while in HS as well. I don't think if Sanderson was hired a year sooner that he would've recruited Ruth or the Altons. They just don't fit the established PSU mold. I heard before that junior wanted to stay close to home and wanted great academics, Lehigh got a really good grab here. 133 Next Year

If OSU thinks they have a chance to win a title, which they arguably do (my money is on PSU), their best scenario is Picc at 125 and Fix at 133. The logic being, I don't think Picc has much of a chance AA'ing in the minefield of 133 but could do rather well at 125. Meanwhile Fix may not win 133, but I think most people think he can place high. Two high placing AA's is better than one. My money is on Gross not repeating. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
