  1. Not a lock, but definitely a big favorite.
  2. Idiotic and worthless to write ^^^^ By the way, who's your team?
  3. I'm not sure why you think Iowa isn't close on paper. Penn State is hands down a better overall and tourney and team, but Iowa has a legitimate shot to beat them in a dual. Probably better than any other team in the nation.
  4. This is what I am thinking for Nico, although I don't believe he is anything close to what Kolat was.
  5. Fair enough, but let me ask you... Who has great offense against elite competition besides McD who is graduating after this year?
  6. I don't think Mega will make the finals this year, but I think he is definitely an NCAA future champ with a VERY legit chance of being a 2x. I do not see Mega as a NC, like I said I have no doubt that he will be a 4x AA. I just think his offense is to limited for him to win a title. Limited offense? His percentage of bonus point victories HAS to be among the best. Almost every match is bonus.
  7. I'm not sure there's a need too. He's THAT good. In my opinion, he has a very good chance to win it this year.
  8. Oliver will smoke Ness. If they meet, I don't think Ness will advance to the finals even on the opposite side of the bracket, anyone is free to quote me here. Oliver wins by at least 10. I know Oliver is going to score A LOT of takedowns. That said, do not count on Ness in this match. He is a much bigger 149 than J.O. and is so unorthodox and dangerous he has what you might call a "puncher's chance". If I'm Oliver he's the one guy that I am hoping gets knocked off. I have a very hard time seeing anyone pulling off any big moves on J.O. Ness vs Alton - now that's what I'm talking about.

  10. Oliver will smoke Ness. If they meet, I don't think Ness will advance to the finals even on the opposite side of the bracket, anyone is free to quote me here. Oliver wins by at least 10. Quoted. 10 huh? That's exactly what they said about Jamal Parks and TheTank Molinaro vs Ness. He's got amazing defense and riding ability when he needs it. Still, I'd pick Oliver at this point. We'll see how the lead-up to NCAA's goes. In my opinion, I think J. Oliver is on a different level than Frank and Jamal Parks. In any event, great showing by your Gophers last night. I'm more and more impressed with Storley each time. He sure is something special.

  12. Lol what's the point of this thread? Regardless who the opponent is, a little bit of celebrating is OK. Nothing feels better than victory. There are fans for every school, every team, and every club around the world that doesn't like celebrating. It is what it is. Quite frankly, I seen nothing wrong with Dake doing it. DT would do the same (and very well may).
  13. As of right now, the only one of these guys putting pressure on Burroughs is Howe. Dake might start putting pressure on him once he starts training freestyle, but he's still way behind. And as of now, Taylor doesn't even belong in the conversation at 163. You mention Taylor doesn't belong in the conversation, but I'm not sure Dake belongs in it either. When they had a go this summer, Burroughs took Dake down 10 or 11 times in 6 minutes.
  14. Go ahead Hammerlock, reference yourself. Look for ANY bit of negativity towards them. I'll be here.
  15. I'm not the one floating groundless rumors about nice kids like the altons transferring just so I can feel important on the forum for 3 seconds. Thats a troll. That just speaks to your intelligence. Go ahead and ask 20 neutral fans if what I asked was bad, and you will clearly see you are wrong. Even the one Minnesota poster said he doesn't know what you were talking about. I clearly seen these rumors elsewhere and decided to ask about them to see what kind of validation I can get. Your classless. And you easily top anyone else in that category on this forum.
  16. That statement alone suggests ultimate jealousy. Knowing darn well there are BOZO fans with EVERY school, you try to point out PSU which is EASILY the best team in the land. Hammerlock, will you ever accept that PSU will D-O-M-I-N-A-T-E your team (whoever that is, maybe an All-Star team). I love how all I have to do is say "bozo" and "PSU" in the same post and Rodney calls himself out. Nope. I'm just proudly defending the school that I root for. With PRIDE! BTW, I still have no idea who you root for. Or if you root for anyone at all. Maybe just troll?

  18. Depends on how you look at it. Actually, he's a 125-pound freshman with a 2-4 record. Considering he was facing the # 2 guy in the country wrestling up a weight - and only cost his team 4 points - I'd say he did pretty well. I expected Ramos to pin him or at least get a 5-point tech, but Visconti didn't give up any back points. That said, it sure wasn't pretty to watch, but I respect a kid who's badly over-matched and will still step in and take one for the team. Fair enough. I thought he should have at least TRIED though. I'm not sure why Ramos didn't stop at a 10 or 11 pt lead and aim at nothing but turning him. It was still early to mid way through the 2nd. He had a ton of time to get it. Ultimately it doesn't matter though as Stieber could have pinned Ramos and IA still wins.
  19. Chill dude, 50% of this board is always hypothetically speaking. Yes, Dake is the man and is the favorite. But the question was always IF.

For being THAT bad, he only gave up 4.
  21. If Taylor wins and then goes unbeaten next year, nobody but you will have Dake ahead of Taylor. Both three timers and four timer finalists, Taylor more dominant and he will have won the big one. Especially if it's an even somewhat clear cut win, since the first two wins seems to raise more questions than answers. I definitely agree with this.
  22. You don't? I'm shocked. Is anyone else shocked? I can't argue with FT. The IA studs didn't exactly stand that much above their competition tonight. Yes, you won. But...
  23. Penn State should absolutely dominate. Minnesota and Ok State could threaten but they didn't come close at the Scuffle even with Andrew and Dylan absent. Iowa will make some noise obviously as well. Same for Ohio State and Cornell. I think the battle is really for 2nd though.
  24. Lol! We find this happening all to often! :)
