This argument is so hilariously inaccurate.  He is NOT wrestling the entire match, in every position, with his arm tied behind his back.  He is ONLY doing it with his left arm when DeSanto collar ties with his left.  This is to avoid Desanto from clamping the tricep with his right hand.   He can STILL react with that arm to any other type of attacks and USE that arm.
Also, he uses a stance turning his left hip back opening his right leg to an attack.  But, this is INTENTIONAL so as to force a lefthanded shot to his right leg, a position where RBY is exceptionally good at defending and MOST wrestlers have a harder time attacking to their left, especially single legs that require steady circling to the left to improve the position.
Now, I agree that it is a brilliant tactic that has worked very well so far.  However, I think it does leave him open to being called for stalling if he catches the wrong ref. Because, the irony is, this tactic actually made RBY look quite one-dimensional in their last match!

Wouldn't you love it?  This way PSU can act like this year didn't even happen............

Nope, but sprawl a bunch of times in a row without doing anything offensive, you are almost certainly going to get hit for stalling.  Sort of the same thing with the arm behind the back.  By itself, it isn't necessarily stalling.  When you do it, how exactly you do it and how long you do it are key factors.

Quite a bit larger, taller, brighter.   You can change the light bulbs without standing on a ladder in the MSU room!  Plus, it is only big enough to fit 2 mats.  Imagine 30 guys trying to practice in there.  Like I said, it is the equivalent of a High School Room and not even all that good of one!

With the current state of their Athletic Department, this is about as good as it can get for a while.  When they actually had the power and money to do something, they were content to let Minkel flounder at the end of his career.  Even Chris left and, lucky for MSU, Roger was able to get him to come back.
Considering the facilities and the after effects of Nasser, what they have accomplished is damn near COTY worthy.

Some brutally horrible comparisons here. Now, I am not saying it is always stalling, but it definitely can be and is in certain situations. Remember, this isn’t Freestyle. Stalling is NOT about lack of controlling the mat. It is about NOT trying to improve your position.
So, with that in mind, there are times when RBY is stalling with it and times he is not. Same goes with the one good comparison of dropping to a knee. If you use them to bait a guy into a position and then attack, it is a legitimate setup. RBY’s takedown of DeSanto in their 1st match was a good example.
However, if you use it to keep as much of you body disengaged from you opponent as possible and are content to stay in that position it IS stalling.
Finally, if you use it for 6:00’s or so after getting a takedown without a single fully committed attack, there definitely is some stalling going on.  Still, a great strategy that has worked very well so far!

Seeding Griffith 1 would be like putting an undefeated Central Florida football team in the playoffs over 11-1 Alabama and 11-1 Georgia when they only lost to each other.  The coaches ranking should keep them 1 and 2 over Griffith and I would hope the committee pays attention to that.

Someone is really moody today. Losing does that. Welcome to a small taste of humility.  Be happy though, you haven’t had to taste it much and probably won’t much again for quite sometime.
You could be from MSU and know your guys are still practicing in an intramural facility that any student could just walk into and work out in.

Of course the bets weren't going to be honored but we have seen that in the past with others. And I agree all should have known when they made them. I also think that if he somehow did honor them certain posters would still be going after him every post. It's simple just ignore him if you don't like his posts.
