  1. During practice Ruth had Taylor stuck in a cradle to which Cael responded "Good job Ruth." Ruth responded back "Call me Bubba J." Suspended!
  2. He's done for the season according to the instrgram (it linked from his twitter page) he posted below. The exact injury is still a mystery. No matter what he's got a great future ahead of him. http://instagram.com/p/WaXp1YI8wJ/ http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2013-01-23/sports/chi-illini-mat-star-futrell-out-with-injury-20130123_1_futrell-injury-irregular-heartbeat
  3. Eric Guerrero 4x AA 3 x Champ Randy Lewis 4x AA 2 x Champ Neither redshirted at any point
  4. AKA Gibson from A.N.T. Farm?
  5. Had Eric Guerrero redshirted his true freshman year would he have been a 4 time champ? How about Joe Williams, he gets his redshirt pulled his true freshman year and is an AA and then redshirts the following year where he avenges a lopsided loss to Sean Bormet. What do you guys think?
  6. With the talk of Gambrall losing his spot in the Hawkeye lineup, can you all name other former AA's or National champs that either did not wrestle their senior year (dropped out, ineligble, injured, etc.) or lost their spot in the lineup? Off the top of my head: Kevin Randleman- dropped out tOS his senior year (?) Wil Kelly- Wartburg's defending D3 national champ comes back 2nd semester Sr. year and loses starting spot
  7. He went Boise State (with his brother Danny) for his final year and didn't place at NCAA's. I think he may have bumped up two weight classes.
  8. I remember Joe Williams having a detailed account on his web site, joewillwin.com, of every opponent he wrested throughout college and Pat Smith was definately one of them. Like Lewboo said, the match occurred Joe's true freshman year. Williams lost.
