  9. Gentlemen, As an Iowa wrestling fan, but more importantly, a fan of wrestling in general, I wanted to offer up the invitation to you guys for our 2014 NCAA Wrestling Pool. This pool has been going on for several years which offers great excitement and a chance to win a decent chunk of change. The pool is ran through a website called fantasygrade.com. It does all the calculations for us, so basically all you have to do is select your team per the rules listed on the website, send in your $25/team, sit back, relax, and hopefully win some money. To summarize the selection process: You are allotted 1000 points to use for your roster. Each wrestler is assigned a point value decreasing from 196pts for a #1 ranked wrestler, down to 5 points for an unranked wrestler. Rankings are based off The Open Mat's final rankings. You have to keep your team under or exactly at the 1000 point limit by selecting one wrestler per weight class. Teams will be scored exactly like the NCAA tournament. If you would like an invitation sent to you, please leave your email address below and we will send out invitations accordingly. Once you receive your invitation, please follow these steps to sign up: 1. Click on the invitation email that was sent to you from the fantasygrade website. 2. If you do not have an account, sign up for one. If you already have an account, log in per usual. 3. After you sign up and get a confirmation to active your account, log back out of the website. 4. Log back in using your username and password. 5. On the left side of the screen with be Public Leagues, do not sign up for those. Instead, look to the right and see the private league that you are to join. 6. Click on the green plus sign to join the league. Once you are entered, you can look around the website a little bit. I suggest you go to the Rules Tab and read the rules of payment on the bottom left. On the bottom right is a highlighted red link that will load up all the rules for the league and show you how to select your team. Lastly, you can create up to four teams. You aren't able to create any teams right now, but you will be once the wrestlers are entered and brackets are drawn, probably later tonight. Again, entry fee is $25/per team and directions on where to send it to are posted in the rules section on fantasygrade.com.
  10. There has been a league formed on HawkeyeReport. Simply go to the wrestling board, click on the same subject line and leave your email. Let's get this to become a nice sized pool again like years past.
  11. A guy has created a league on hawkeyereport.com if any of you wish to join. Click on the same subject line in the wrestling forum and leave your email address to get an invitation.
