  1. Good catch; my bad. That actually explains several things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. This event is part of the Ranking Series for MFS. https://unitedworldwrestling.org/events https://unitedworldwrestling.org/sites/default/files/2018-06/infos_09_warsaw_n.pdf
  3. Tournament rules summary states no more than 3 guys from same country can enter at same weight, so no way all those guys will be there. Surprised no Molinaro posted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Given who he has been training with as of late, I would expect 70. Except him at 65 during the winter season leading into US Open. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Any word on who all is competing from USA in men’s FS? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. According to Twitter feed, he is only doing Poland. I would like to see him do both too. Not sure what the other guys are doing. Maybe that ties into it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. JO tweeted that he is competing in Poland, but not Medved. Assuming at 70 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Different weight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Nice rant. You’re wrong, but nice rant. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I can see him up at 70 if he competes next month, but when it comes to worlds next year, expect him back at 65 unless something changes with 2020 Olympic weights Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Flo's lead investors are both Venture Capital companies (not Private Equity). BDMI (out of NY) and DCM out of Silicon Valley are the two lead investiors. Anyone with a decent LINKED-IN network will know someone who can make an introduction to one of their partners from one of these firms who I am sure will be very happy to share their thoughts about Flo's financial and Operating performance (VCs are not public companies so they can say whatever they want without SEC concerns). Martin being shown the door is exhibit A about how they feel. Bottom line is that they would love to dump the hemorrhaging excuse for an operator, but haven't found anyone willing to take it off their hands yet which means the price is too high, but dropping. Will be interesting to see if they find a buyer. They do have a subscriber base, regular advertisers and exclusive content contracts (even if they over paid for them), so there is still value in the thing....but not enough to make their investors whole. They are cash flow negative from an Opex standpoint -- and that does not even consider the Debt on the Balance sheet.
  12. Then where did it go. There was one particular posted where I detailed who the primary investors are in Flo and how one might be able to get direct feedback from them regarding their ROI from Flo and well as its Operations. That post is now gone.
  13. I assume the posts were deleted bc I shared info about Flo's investors and how they currently feel about Flo, as well as how to make direct contact with them. All this information is still available using an amazing tool called "GOOGLE" though.
  14. Not the worst call in the world, but I think the 4 was generous
  15. You very well may be right. My opinion is swayed more than yours by USAW's frustration with him not competing overseas more than he did...I suspect I followed that more closely than you...
  16. No, I've found that he rarely responds to fans on Twitter. Wish he would interact more.
  17. That seems to make perfect sense, my only issue with that is why not let JO know that before he accepted his punishment (meaning drop any remaining rights to appeals), etc. I have trouble letting USAW have it both ways...1) It was planned not to have a LC and 2) We only made that decision after JO agreed to his punishment....Maybe it all was an awful coincidence, but IMO, there is enough there to be skeptical..
  18. Dake just tweeted this.... Thanks to everyone that tuned in this weekend! This was the final competition before the world championships in Budapest. Keep improving is the motto this year! #USA But there are two ranking series tourneys in Sept ....Medved and Poland Open. I wonder if Dake tweet is just about himself or entire World Team. I would think some of the guys still could use seeding points.
  19. You say potato.... For the sake of argument, let's say your're right. Everything that played out, the timing of finalizing procedures, dropping last chance, etc all would have happened exactly as it as it did regardless of the JO situation....For right now, let's say I stipulate to it all just being a bad coincidence... Even with that stipulation that none of if was intentionally designed to screw JO, I will still go to my grave holding the opinion (yes opinion) that they would have made different decisions it various other wrestlers were in the same situation. And I believe that was driven by USAW's unhappiness with decisions he made in the previous years not to compete in certain events. I cannot prove any of that, but I believe it. As for all that I just stipulated to and whether I believe any of it really was done w/ JO in mind.....Certainly not all of it, but dropping Last Chance really makes me wonder....
  20. His world Gold, yes. Also has a World Bronze from 3 years earlier. The year he took Bronze at World's was the year Oliver beat him. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magomed_Kurbanaliev Look, I don't know if JO will make the team next year or not. I think he will, but who knows was ZR will look like when he comes back. And never count Stieber out....And injuries are always a risk... But I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that in 2018, JO is the best American at 65KG. With him at 65 and Stieber at 61, our chances of defending our world team title would be much better. But it is not to be. Hopefully we can win the team title anyway -- very possible. And we can agree to disagree, but the fact remains that if USAW wanted to, they could have gotten JO an invite to the trials. Yes, it would have been unusual (but not unprecedented). They chose not to do so and IMO it hurts our chances at another team title. I'm sure JO's reluctance to wrestle overseas very often did not help his chances of USAW bending over backwards to get him an invite. I've told the guy myself that I think he should compete overseas more often, but it's his life and career. Travelling overseas sucks, I get it. But I hope he does more of it soon. And if I have the chance to tell him that again, I will. You could bust my chops about being a JO fan all you want, but I obviously don't care. I've watched the kid wrestle since he was in 9th grade and always felt he had potential to be a world/Olympic champ (or medalist some day). From my perspective he has 2 (maybe 3) more years to make that dream come true and I will continue to root for him until he leaves his shoes on the mat. That's nothing to be ashamed of.
  21. Chamizo and Asgarov were, but Kurbanaliev was World Cup in LA.
  22. World Cup isn't World's but I wouldn't consider it an exhibition... Kurbanaliev
  23. Oliver has wins over: Asgorov (Olympic Champ) Kurbanaliev (World Champ) Logan Steiber....Multiple wins and undefeated (World Champ) And is undefeated against current active US Field at 65. He also gave Chamizo all he could handle in a tough loss.
