  1. I’d be the first one to say I’d never thought that would happen, but sometimes have to make big decisions to get ahead in life. I don’t think we could ever blame someone for making decisions they feel are in their own best interest. If it works it works, if it doesn’t it doesn’t, that’s what life is about. 5. Yazdani was actually a 55kg guy when I first saw him. He's placed at every world tournament I've seen him wrestle in since then. That year I believe he took a silver or bronze at Cadet worlds Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yes, it's a fleeing the hold call, tough to interpret just like "negative wrestling", similar to using your head to block. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. You answered the question, hands to the head OK, hands to the face not good. On a more technical note, he has to look to take control of the position not "flee" or "block". Was a frustrating but good call. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. This makes things interesting. Two different styles, one hand fighter, one very explosive and powerful. Hope to see it happen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I coach in NJ and one of the teams that participate at Prep Nationals. I honestly don't see a difference, could maybe be a little tougher as we have a plethora of kids at National Preps ranked in the country. As of late we have added teams from Texas, Tennessee and others are wanting to get in. Also, I want to say, just like any other tournament, depends on the weight class. But there are some tough kids and teams at National Preps. I have also been on the other side with my son participating in NJ States. I really don't see a difference. I've known some NJ State players that have made the move and not been able to replicate their performance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
