  1. Interesting that you thought maybe one of the Paulson’s was in the bracket, because during that 2008-09 season they were training/coaching at Nebraska. So, they were in the room with JB that year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Ward vs. Chiapparelli is not a toss-up at all. Frankly, it’s not even close. Ward had a 91% college win percentage (126-10-2) while Chiapparelli’s was 84% (111-21), with more than 2x as many losses as Ward. Over half of Ward’s losses were to an all-timer in Lee Kemp (and one of his ties too). 3x finalist vs 1x finalist. Ward was also undefeated in High School (90-0). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Anyone putting Dake ahead of Burroughs must’ve forgotten the fact Dake had to get out of Burroughs’ weight in order to make the team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. He made the World Team in 2014. https://www.teamusa.org/usa-wrestling/team-usa/world-team-history Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I believe Greg wrestled at Oklahoma State, but then transferred and finished college somewhere else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The original replier was not talking about the “Perry” family (Mark, Sr, Mark, Jr. and Chris), they were referencing the “Peery” family (Rex, Ed, and Hugh...all 3x NCAA Champs). But yes, Mark Perry, Sr. was an AA himself, in addition to both his sons being Champs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Nickal was a 3x Champ at 2 different weights. 184 (twice) and 197...not at 3 weights. He took 2nd at 174 as a freshman. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. That is correct. Gibbons was the Head Coach in 1987 (ISU’s last national title) when they snapped Iowa’s streak of 9 straight national titles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Is anyone else’s stream lacking audio or announcers?? There was sound for the introductions then as soon as 125 started its radio silence. There’s not even crowd noise or whistles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Are the Midlands finals not on BTN this year, and exclusively on FLO? I know last year FLO streamed the early rounds but the finals were still on television via BTN. However, checking the tv listings, it looks like they will not be on BTN this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Agree. Perhaps I was being a little hyperbolic with the last sentence of my reply. Nebraska certainly has no shortage or resources or money, and being in the Big Ten certainly helps recruiting. I just vehemently disagree with the sentiment of the original post re: Manning, and stand by the rest of my post. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. How does this criticism in any way apply to Manning? Manning has 8 top-10 NCAA team finishes (including 2 top-4 finishes), a 72% dual meet winning pct (in the Big 12 & Big 10), and a Big 12 team title, all while coaching in a state that does not produce a high amount of D1 talent. Then of course, there is the international success of Burroughs and Green that others have already mentioned. If anything, the correct question would be does anyone do more with less, than Manning? 13. I know FLO will be showing all rounds of the Big Tens live, except the finals. Will FLO be archiving the early round matches as well, or does their agreement with BTN prohibit them from archiving Big Ten matches? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Nevermind. Found it on ESPN3 http://www.espn.com/watch/player?id=3280779
  15. Is this match not being shown anywhere? I just went to FLO and they are advertising "live updates" but no live stream. Not on tv either.
