  1. Couldn't have said it better. The guy is a great talent and he has earned the right to be cocky but his unsporting attitude towards Burroughs and possibly others that might beat him in the future is what makes him the great Tsarduche.
  2. Is any video of this match or Biseks bronze medal match?
  3. Thanks for the info. I agree that with Ruth showing what he can do with freestyle and the fact that he's only getting better, Jake will have to be in tip top shape if he wants a spot on the team. I hope he does get back to wrestling as that can only be a good thing for USA wrestling. We would have some pretty good depth at that weight with Ed Ruth, Clayton Foster and Jake Herbert assuming he's the same wrestler from a few years ago.
  4. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Mr Herbert supposed to start competing again this year?
  5. To be honest im not suprised Ramos won in the US. The only person that he had to face whos had recent success internationally was Esco and the score shows it was a tight match(I didnt watch it) so to me that was his only major hurdle to get on the team. So I guess his real test that will give us a much better look at his potential is obviously worlds. Something tells me he will do better than what most are predicting even if that is winning only couple matches. He seems motivated so i dont think this will be his last worlds regardless of the result.
  6. I for the most part agree with what everyone here is saying except for that I think Ramos can beat some of the lower level guys right now. After all he did beat Esco who can hold his own on the world level but that might have just been a case of a bad style matchup for Angel. As for Ruth again I agree that he should be able to find success as long as he forgets those folkstyle habbits and polishes up his freestyle.
  7. What are your thoughts on their chances to medal at worlds. I would like some of your opinions on how their styles match up to the rest of the world. Will Tony Ramos' hardnosed handfighting be effective on the world stage and the same for Ruth with how he wrestles as well, will they suprise some people with their style of wrestling?
  8. What is your problem? Why do you constantly have to bash on the phenoms? Eighteen year old Kyle Snyder just showed an insane amount of potential in losing a close one with a 6x world champ. Even if Gatsolov is not in the best shape it was still a good showing from Snyder. Not a single person on these boards wants to constantly read your negative posts, especially about two phenominal young wrestlers who are the future of USA wrestling and could compete and hold their own against the top guys today.
  9. Just a few things you said in your Pico paragraph. Molinaro barely beat Emeev of Russia in the finals of a tournament. So to my knowledge Emeev lost to three Americans on his visit here. I have a feeling that the reason Pico was able to tech him him is cause i think Emeev is around 20 years old so hes not a fully grown and mature man yet. Pico is probably one of the best in the world for his age, imo he is just that much better than the Russian. I think a rematch would be a few points closer but Pico would prevail. The point im trying to make is i think Aaron is that much better with freestyle technique that he dominated a person that was taking it to Russell and Molinaro, even with their size advantage.
  10. Why do people think green is gonna win the open when he couldnt even win ncaa's?
  11. Cant wait for Snyder to start hitting the senior circuit. On another note Clayton Foster made a name for himself this weekend, super tough to score on and I look forward to seeing a matchup of him and Herbert.

  13. Just an FYI the stats for the Illinois kids are wrong, Brian Rossi is a state champ this year beating three nationally ranked kids along the way. His wins at state include a first round 9-0 win against Anthony Bosco an Ironman finalist this year, a 17-2 tech fall win against Anthony Munoz, a 7-1 win against Austin Gomez and a 7-0 final win against Miguel Silva. Bryce Brill is a 3x champ who scored bonus points against most of his opponents this year. Josh Alber is a 4x undefeated state champ with a 182-0 career record. Didnt mean to post this twice, ignore.
