  1. And I feel some people have a good case, I just don't see this one as one of them.
  2. Someone last year made some sick fillable NCAA Brackets on Excel... Someones gotta step up again and fill out that template.
  3. Quit crying over Boyd's seed... He lost to the #9, #11 and #13 seed this year. Yea he beat the #1 seed but what do you expect? None of you would be crying if he was the 10 or 11. Someone has to wrestle the #1 seed. You all sound like a bunch of homers
  4. Looks like tomorrow night the selection show is set to begin at 6 PM. Anyone want to guess the seedings? I know there is a few individual threads right now but I thought this could be one central location for multiple weights... Who is clear #1 Seed? Where could there be a mess in terms of seeding the weight? Does NCAA Seeding committee make an effort to separate guys like Nolf and Imar for marketing purposes or do they stick to the formula? Who is the potential "Landmine" at each weight?
  5. Saying Avery will be seeded 15/16 is ridiculous and laughable. Ranked 2nd last week, beats #3 and although losses to VT that doesn't explain dropping him off the map. I am not saying he is the 2 seed I am saying that it will be injustice to the NCAA's placing him that low just to bracket bust everyone in his way. He made scratch weight 3/4 days this week and VT was day 4. The ranking teams at Flo and Intermat seem to have it right. They dropped him some but also considered a ton of factors. If he knocks off another win against a top 20 opponent, walks through EWL and enters NCAA as 13-1 or something like this you are telling me he is a 15 seed?! Yea right
  6. What happens to the money if you donate and it does not reach it's goal, I think most people are hesitant because if they donate and it doesn't reach the goal and the school benefits from it that would suck. I think clarity on that subject would be awesome, even if it was promised into the club wrestling program (not sure if this will be put in place if they drop down) at least we know it isn't going to CSU athletics or university.
  7. Shafted · 125 – Peters (#9) – Win over #4, Returning AA · 125 – Delgado (NS) – You either hate Delgado or you are dumb if you think 2x National Champ shouldn’t be seeded · 125 – Terao (NS) – 2 wins over #16 for starts · 133 – Schopp (#9) – Should be #4 seed, Minny fans should be pissed · 141 – Carter (#4) – Should be #3, no doubt · 141 – Abiden (#9) – Did BIG 10 mean nothing? · 149 – Tshirts (#2) – Should be 1 · 149 – Kindig (NS) – No reason he should be unseeded, especially looking at some of the seeded · 165 – Stafford (NS) – Should slip him into a low seed, deserves it · 174 – Storley (#6) – Should be higher, no doubt · 174 – Walters (#9) – Just beat the “4”, Returning AA · 184 – Dechow (#4) – Should be #3, Both lost to unseeded, Dechow avenged his, Stauffer didn’t · 184 – Brown (#7) – See’s the repercussion of Dean’s Scuffle · 184 – Miklus (NS) – See Boyd (Below) · 197 – Hartmann (#10) – SMH Got the Hook Up · 133 – Richards (#5) 6 seed at BIG 10, takes 5th, now a 5th seed… hmmm · 141 – Mayes (#3)– 2 loses to #10 seed · 149 – Mastriani (#7) –0-2 at his conference tourney getting stuck by a guy with a losing record and his best win is against a teammate… And people say Kindig shouldn’t be seeded LOL · 174 – Eblen (#4) – Should fall right around #6 or #7 after loss to Walters · 184 – Stauffer (#3) – See Dechow · 184 – Boyd (#12) –This one snuck by people. Way too high, should be unseeded or 16th maybe. Yea he has some good wins but he also has some bad losses to unseeded guys (2x Miklus, Weatherspoon, Stroh)
  8. Valid points at 41, not sure how they will seed that little cluster. Same with 74, Eblen could very well be a 6. However, 84 i completely disagree, of those above he has wrestled the least ranked opponents. He had a big win over dechow and dechow just avenged that. Boyd was his only other solid win over a ranked/strong opponent. Loses to Reyes and McCutchen hurt his seed. No way he belongs any higher then 14 at best.
  9. Pretty good, agree with top 5... I see them plucking in Delgado around #6 or #7 though... Even with the results from this weekend. Like to see someone attempt to do 133, seems like a headache. Dardanes and Taylor probably 1-2, not sure where you put Schopp after the loss this weekend, 4-6? 41: 1) Stieber 2) Port 3) Carter 4) Dziewa 5) Dardanes 6) Martinez 7) Horan 8) Mayes 9) Abidin 10) Mecate 11) Ashnault (Mayes losing and Dardanes losing to Dziewa make this interesting on where they fall) 49: 1) Tsirtsis 2) Houdashelt 3) Habat - 4) Sorensen 5) Villalonga 6) Kindig Hunter and Habat are x factors. They know how good Hunter is but doesn't have the results to back it, can see him falling around 11-13. Habat rock solid all year but recent loss may cause him to drop, range anywhere from 3-7. Does Langenderefer get a decent seed with the big run at big 10's? 57: 1) Martinez 2) Realbuto 3) Ness 4) Green 5) Miller top 5 here are pretty simple 65: 1) Dieringer 2) I Jordan 3) Moreno 4) B Jordan 5) Sulzer 6) Walsh 7) Harger 8) Morse 9) Walsh - navy 10) Moore - N iowa 11) Palacio Curious on where they seed 2-5... 74: 1) Kokesh 2) Brown 3) Evans 4) Storley 5) Wilps 6) Butler 7) Walters 8) Eblen 9) Epperly 10) Martin Top 4 are pretty cut and dry, not sure if there could be much change then above. 84: 1) Dean 2) Thomusseit 3) Dechow 4) Brown 5) Stauffer 6) Meeks 7) Thomas 8) Abounader 9) Zillmer 10) Brooks 11) Avery 12) Pfarr 13) McCutchen 14) Robertson 15) Reyes 16) Miklus Confident that these will be the top 16 seeded, tough weight to seed after 5, 9-12 will be interesting. Couple of interesting situations here. 97: 1) Cox 2) Gadson 3) McIntosh 4) Snyder 5) Schiller 6) Burak 7) Hatmann 8) Huntley 9) Bennett Interested to see 10-16 seed. Heavy 1) Gwiaz 2) McMullan 3) Telford 4)Medberry 5) Coon 6) Medbery 7) Marsden These are just a prelim guess, interested to hear thoughts.
  10. Pfarr and Brooks on the same side. I got Pfarr at 8th place, guess we will see.
