I entered them in my spreadsheet when you had Jackson instead of Chance.  Yes, I agree you were 2nd with 33. :)

Thanks to all who entered and congratulations to Mdogg!!!  Here's what I calculated as the final standings: (please let me know if you think I missed something).
    Mdogg 37 steamboat_charlie v2 31 Keisha_Phillips 31 bnwtwg 30 GenralLee 28 Ragu 27 ShakaAloha 26 rpm002 25 nhs67 21 lu1979 21
All 6 wrestlers in Mdogg's lineup earned points... that's very impressive!  Mdogg:  if you PM me your paypal or Venmo ID, I'll send you $10 in honor of your victory. :)
As well as Mdogg did, there is potential for improvement next time.  I think the maximum point total possible would have been a lineup of:
Richards Brewer Yianni Deakin Gantt Becker Downey Pass Honis Nelson
That lineup would have been valid (cost = $1500) and would have earned 4+10+10+10+6+4+10+0+6+6 = 66 points!  (alternatively, you could have subbed Nickal for Downey and gotten the same).

Garret still is the one at that weight with the most upside. Don't forget, he teched Colon to win the spot. Freakishly JB like athleticism. I'm going for the all upside team. Fix, Nashon, Yanni, Nolf.

No kidding you're off, you just spent $3,900 on your team... this is a salary cap league and you're out here spending like the '99 Yankees

I don't think that is applicable to this case.  It would be if Garrett had won a medal and then gotten hurt afterwards.  As it stands, Garrett made the team, so he has an invite to WTT, but Colon, as the world medalist, is the only one who would be entitled to a wrestle off.

Courts over Downey is a blatant error by the ranking committee...just two months ago at the Schultz.

Agreed 100%. I’ll admit at times I look at him with orange and maroon lens so I’m a little biased. But as you stated, his accomplishments are off the charts this early in his career. I know the jump from juniors to seniors is a huge step and I’m not predicting him to unseat Burroughs, at least not this year. His ceiling is so high and I’m looking forward to seeing him go against the elite US guys fully expecting some wow moments and some instances where his lack of FS experience will show. One thing is for sure, if he stays healthy and hungry, he’s gonna wreck a lot of guys sooner rather than later

Anyone know Garrett's plan?  He's currently not registered for the Open. He is already qualified for WTT since he was on the World team last year (even though he didn't compete at World's) so thinking maybe he will take an extra month to heal and just wrestle at WTT? (while he wouldn't get a bye, he'd surely get the top seed at WTT)  If that's the case, 61 Open seems really interesting... the field is deep, but the top 2 won't be there, so someone who many are overlooking will get a bye to the WTT finals.

Ed really didn't transition to freestyle well.

He could score, but he kept his hips too high and was turned easily.

I think the match with Reader was indicvidive of Ruth's freestyle career.

Wick took White down 3 times in the 3rd period.  He just has to survive the 1st period.... if he can do that against Marinelli, he'll win.

Joseph is undefeated with wins over #4, #5, #6, and #7.  I don't hate the concept, but this is the wrong time to apply it.
I guess I can buy Marinelli as the 1 seed if he beats Wick again, but saying Cenzo should be the #3 seed regardless of the Wick/Marinelli outcome is going way too far IMO.

I get what you are saying, but many could have easily said the same about Molinairo in January of 2015.... actually, if someone made a list like this at that time, he almost certainly wouldn't have even been included at all. There will probably be 1-2 similar surprises in 2019/2020.

I believe the 2-day scratch weigh-in, as well as the positioning for 2020 Olympic weights have  more that a few guys on that list debating which weight to wrestle this year.
I expect some some surprises in that regard.

So it has been over 9 months since we've seen a rankings update, so the next one probably won't be until after the US Open (or maybe just before).  Here's my top 5 at each weight.  I'm sure there are a couple bad omissions here, so please correct me where warranted.
57  Gilman, Fix, Ramos, NaTo, Lee (could flip 4 and 5.... hard to rank them since neither have wrestled free in the last year)
61  Colon, Garrett, Mega, Graff, Morrison (Brewer would probably be 6th given Gross's injury and his win at Schultz.... will be interesting to see what shape Garrett will be in at the Open.... a torn pec is often a 6 month injury and that is almost exactly his time frame)
65  Steiber, Oliver, Zain, Molinaro, Futrell (very hard to rank this weight.  Eierman also has a good case to be in there)
70 Green, Chamberlain, Hidlay, Pantaleo, Deakin (some young guns, but seems like one of the weaker weights now with Frank moving down)
74 Burroughs, IMAR, Kulchytskyy, Gnatt, Lewis
79 Dake, Valencia, Dieringer, Hall, Aaron Brooks
86 Taylor, Reenan, Downey, Nickal, Courts
92 Cox, Heflin, Zilmer, Winn, McCall, Dudley (or is Dudley going back down to 86kg? he'd probably be 4 or 5 there if so)
97 Snyder, Gadson, Walz, N Burak, Moore
125 Gwiz, Coon, Nelson, Gable, Varner (Kosoy would be 6th and Dom 7th after the Schultz result)
