  1. I've got a feeling DTbisngonna get a talkin' to by some higher ups.... Not sure if anyone else posted this (I scrolled fast....) but Gadsen threw some serious SHADE his way (Ok - my nephews are trying to teach me the correct way to use that - I have no clue if I did it right) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. Agreed. Not every thread needs to come back to "Cael is a god" and all the Penn State slobbering that goes along with it.
  3. See - its when people add stuff like the above that makes them sarcastic "I wanna argue everything and show you how smart I am" posters that are disliked. I was being coy/sarcastic because of the raging debate on this board about that topic. I dont have a "thesis" and sorry that I forgot about her scholastic high school folkstyle wrestling......
  4. Im talking about her technique right now. And I think she's been training with Kalika for quit some time, right? Im not saying that he is solely responsible for making her good, either.
  5. Still have to sit a year, but you don't lose a year of eligibility. Without the waiver - they need to sit a year AND lose a year.
  6. Most of her technique has to be from Kalika, right? I think he is an incredible coach - I wish he coached more of our men/women (maybe he does and Im just missing it, though)
  7. Kinda makes one think that if someone trains strictly freestyle from a young age they might get pretty good at it....... Hmmmm.......
  8. Great minds, G [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. And didn't give up one friggin point Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. Is she World Hodge Trophy??? She may be the best, and most dominant, in the world. Tech'd her way to a world title and up2 weight classes?! (And for those who love to argue everything - I know there is no "world hodge trophy") Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. Love seeing new programs start http://athletics.pittbradford.org/sports/wrest/2017-18/releases/20170822egltfn?mc_cid=00c3571081&mc_eid=b7572b462e
  12. It helps if PSU promises to support a waiver request. He still has to sit a year but doesn't lose a year of eligibility on top. I think I'm right about that - aren't I? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  13. It's a negotiation - plain and simple. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. I'm sure that's how the 2 camps scripted it anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  16. I think McKenna improves greatly this year - not that he isn't exceptional already, I just think he regressed a bit last year and tOSU room will be more conducive to him regaining and improving beyond where he was. I think McKenna's ceiling is higher than PDIII's and with his mindset, I think he will get much more out of his time at tOSU. PDIII is definitely a rare talent as well, so he can greatly improve too, but I give the mental edge to make it happen to JM. That said, I wouldnt at all be surprised to see PDIII in the finals.
  17. Holy crap that was one of the dumbest arguments ever had on here. DO you guys need to argue about EVERYTHING?!?!
  18. Not only that, but they also state things that are not factual - I wish they did some research before talking on the topics they discuss. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. So I guess the moral of the story is that transferring was as prevalent then as it seems to be now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. Dag - Bob Whalen was like a big bro to me growing up. He was 2 years ahead of me and I was looking at UVA b/c he was there but then he told me he was transferring to Cornell so I stopped looking at UVA. He wanted me to check out Cornell but I had my heart set of Pitt (lifelong Pitt fan so when Stotty called I was already sold). In fact, Bob had a sweet Pitt hat in high school that he gave me when he was a senior and I was a sophomore. I wore it for every match/tourney. I still have it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  21. If you get PRK, which is slightly different than LASIK, but done in same facility and by the same did, the risks are nullified. The issue you have is that with LASIK they cut a flap on your cornea, shape the eye by scraping it, then put the flap back. The risk is that this flap could get knocked loose. With PRK they just scrape the eye to shape it - no flap. Once it heals it's like nothing was done. I should add, though, that recovery is much longer. It took me a few months to have 100% clear vision, but it was well worth it. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  22. He was on the most recent PA Power podcast and sounds great - hoping for the best. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. Great storylines and thoughts, Mr Tucker. I'd obviously love to see JB back to where he was 2 years ago, but he seems to have lost that "it" that he had before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
