  1. Are we down or delayed again or is the DC preview the intended content right now?
  2. RBY looks like he could separate himself from the field going forward. There was potential in there that is coming out in a big way. Funny thing about Flo. Since LJB thought that everyone assumed they are the devil they have hit all time lows in so many aspects.
  3. How much potential does RBY have in that PSU room. Jeez! This guy really could leave everyone behind.
  4. Poorly chosen music to appeal to a minimum number of people and strange chatter in the background. Just super amateur.
  5. This was a big moment for Flo to move past a tumultuous couple of weeks. You guys need some situational awareness help. Fast. Wow.
  6. Wondering that myself. Seemed to have less and less of the “big” matchups last year.
  7. I was implying that any thoughts of Mark Hall sucking down to 74 in Olympic years might be minimized and this perhaps cements him as a 79. No surprise there really. Never heard a rumor that 79 would become an olympic weight.
  8. Some implications for Hall then also since he is there. Thinking he is a 79KG guy perhaps without a fit for olympic years.
  9. Yep, same time. Not a huge stretch to think those 3 guys could have had NCAA finishes of (2,1,1), (1,2,2,1) and (3,1,1,1) by the end of their careers. Impressive trio for one high school team. eam Weight Score [Result] Name (Winners listed on the top line.) 3 106 Kyle Rathman Apple Valley 0 [9-5] Zach Smith Prior Lake 3 113 Gunner Charbonneau Prior Lake 3 [4xOT 3-2] Noah Buck Apple Valley 6 120 Gannon Volk Apple Valley 3 [3-2] Dylan Sogge Prior Lake 9 126 Zach Chytka Apple Valley 3 [1-0] Kenny ONeil Prior Lake 12 132 Maolu Woiwor Apple Valley 3 [4-1] Tyler Hanson Prior Lake 18 138 Seth Gross Apple Valley 3 [Fall 58] Wyatt Benson Prior Lake 24 145 Brock Morgan Apple Valley 3 [Fall 102] Keaton Kaisersatt Prior Lake 30 152 Davionte Young Apple Valley 3 [Fall 35] Ian O'Conner Prior Lake 35 160 Jackson Graham Apple Valley 3 [TF 306 16-1]Anthony Perez Prior Lake 39 170 Mark Hall Apple Valley 3 [17-6] Robby Schultz Prior Lake 45 182 Bobby Steveson Apple Valley 3 [Fall 49] Lucas Pumper Prior Lake 50 195 Gable Steveson Apple Valley 3 [TF 420 21-6]Abe Ngaima Prior Lake 56 220 Paul Cheney Apple Valley 3 [Forfeit] Prior Lake Prior Lake 9 285 Luis Pinto Prior Lake 56 [Fall 56] Jack Garcia Apple Valley
  10. Apple Valley team had Gross (2,1), Hall (1,2,2) and Steveson (3) wrestling together, all losing credentials from the lost NCAAs this year. The AV team was rounded out by some other hammers as well.
  11. Maybe your take is biased a bit because you have been mocking “Flo is the devil” and now that is looking a bit foolish. for others some sexual harassment allegations have surfaced and Flo dismisses Nomad with an “effective immediately” policy. Also seems Downey was sexting several in an unwanted way. Allegations at this point but the smoke is THICK.
  12. Yeah, maybe so. With the benefit of hindsight I think I may have misinterpreted the message and he was saying that "we" let him go but it upset me because we were boys. Regardless, he could have used the platform a bit better. Similarly, Nate Jackson had some really well thought out and well articulated messages on the subject. That was very impressive.
  13. His comments indicated he was "honestly disappointed" that the club let PD3 go. This obviously means he didn't make the call and didn't agree with it, with his explained rationale being that people didn't understand their 1:1 relationship and that it would be for life. Just really poor judgement and a poor message. If his role is as a leader in any way at this RTC then his personal relationship with PD3 should not be highly considered in what Reece feels is best for the club. Like honestly, a lot of people should be asking some tough questions of him regarding PD3 being there in the first place. His response posted earlier in this thread would/should make those same people ask those same questions much more quickly and harshly, because frankly his thought process in that message shows some underlying concerns to him living up to whatever responsibilities a coach at an RTC are.
  14. Oh Reece Humphrey, come on man. What a poor response. I had a lot of respect for him, and while it is now apparent that others are making the executive decisions for the club it is also apparent that this is a good thing for all involved and his situational awareness is not at a point that he can be head man. Reece--You have a good relationship with the kid and "get" him, you 2 are boys for life. That is great and all but you are in a position to introduce him into the world of many, many others in our great community and all of those young and impressionable people don't have a close relationship with him, and they are not "boys for life" with him. This is bigger than you. This is not cancel culture or a social media blow up. This is an important issue for the youth of our sport and your response pretty much shows you are not strong enough to see out of your inner circle and the important position you have in influencing others. Frankly, the NJRTC needs to look at their mission statement and see if you are capable of leading a large program and massage the trickle down cultures a role like that brings. This post also brings into question your judgement and authority (to the extent you had it) in bringing him to the club in the first place. If I was a donor I am not sure I would be any longer.

Always felt this about Ed Ruth. Arms seemed to reach his own knees.
  17. Smaller schools playing a B1G team in non-conference football game is usually for a program sustaining payout. Example would be UNI and Iowa I believe. How many others are there? Could put wrestling at risk at a school like that.
  18. Princeton would be a logical choice but does the Griffith family really want their kid spending time in the same room and environment as Pat Downey. Sure he may bring levity and diverse views to the team and program but I would certainly pause if I were them knowing he promotes recreational drug use and sex shaming women on social media. Being around the Princeton University + program = plus. Being around that RTC without them filtering by ethics = concern. Saying that as a Humphrey fan, he seems like a dynamic individual.
  19. Millions in the UFC. LMFAO
  20. I read the article and thought it was great. Really petty and transparent of Flo to avoid the event on their site in total.
  21. Would be curious what JO would have to say after. Nothing committed to in the full 6 minute match, pretty disappointing. Can only assume he didn't want to open up anything for Nolf's offense nor allow any counter stuff.
  22. Downey just made that July matchup a whole lot less interesting. He is world class something, just not sure what....
  23. You mean as DT suggested and PD3 agreed to. No need to alter any other bouts. Lets keep this in perspective, this is a SIMPLE change for one match. Easy stuff.
  24. This is great and an absolutely golden opportunity for Flo. Both competitors are in agreement that it can happen and there are only 2 modifications to the standard UWW ruleset. This is the ultimate competitor trash talk call out that could ever happen. The implication being that competitor A is publicly claiming that he is going to throw up an obscene number of points on competitor B. Both would have to take their preparation to unreal levels for an exhibition match as competitor A has to back it up, (how foolish would he look if he only won by 10) while competitor B better be prepared to go 8 minutes hard or be at the risk of giving up 50 points. The greatest marketing aspect ever is that this involves PD3 and DT yet the arrows have been shot by DT, who would have thought! Unthinkable when considering the 2 personalities! Amazing drama! Easy storyline to market market market. Lowest hanging fruit imaginable for FRL content leading up to the match. Are you guys not going to get this done? Hell this is probably non-material stuff in the contract already signed, but if that isn't the case just amend real quick, like today, and get a signature on the new version and make this happen!! No need to say "maybe next time" as this opportunity and these circumstances won't come again. Fuel this bad blood! Good guy versus bad guy! Golden Boy versus Lizard Villain! No risk to the fan of a 1:10 10-0 tech with some gut wrench or leg lace roll up but 8 minutes of bad blood and one of them getting put in their place. Which one?
  25. Looking forward to live wrestling. Can't wait and it will be well worth the $20 for a night of entertainment.
