Well Bo has already lost 2, so he better get pretty hot real quick if he wants to win 7 of 8 against Zahid.

the OW should go to the wrestler that that makes you just say.......... WOW!.......... that was Spencer Lee and EVERYONE around me in the stands said basically that............ and I sit with VT. So no love lost for an Iowa kid.
Yanni CERTAINLY has a case as well.
Bo won because of putting PSU over the top. Congrats to him.

Funny, this thread says much more about PSU fans than it does about Nick Suriano; not a good look for them.

I thought video was well done. I don’t appreciate Flo trailer presenting it like a “piss on PSU piece”

Very simple. Super focused kid with huge goals. Injury robbed him of goal. He didn’t point fingers or blame anyone.

The injury messed him up mentally and he reavaluated things. He more of an “I” guy than a “we” guy.

Jersey is best place for him. I wish him the best. I’m not happy about the hole he left at PSU but we’ll be better of in the end with guys that want to be there

I think desanto is pretty one dimensional at this point. Has struggles on bottom and doesn’t do much on top. He is relentless on his feet however. I love watching kaid make guys land on their face with that slide by, makes me laugh every time.

No... McFadden, Rogers, Walsh and Marstellar. At the very least one of them will AA

I'll go with whoever Yianni faces in round 1.  That guy has to beat all the same guys as Yianni, plus he has to beat Yianni.

Heres a bit of a plot twist... I think the fact that he actually wrestled Micah and got pinned hurt him. Had he just MFF out of the semis he probably would have been the 3 seed and Nolf 4th. Makes you wonder... them trying to punish him for the MFF actually encourages guys to MFF in the future!

I started a gourp over on wrestlestat called "themat.com boarders".  it's a tourney pick 'em for the B1G tournament.  let's see what kind of team everyone can put together.  No prizes, just bragging rights on the board.

I started wrestling the last week of wrestling season in 1974 (4th grade) @ 84 pounds and wrestled my last match in 1994 at HWT. Placed at state a couple times. (blah blah blah blah).

Overall career record: somewhere around 125-35. I had an unorthodox wrestling style, middling technique, but great strength, balance, and motor. My go to takedowns were the Fireman's Carry and outside single. I had a nasty headlock and lateral drop. I worked relentlessly from the top using what later became known as the "Tulsa Ride" and was one of the top pinners in the state my Sr year. I never got pinned in my career.

I didn't wrestle until 10th grade after getting kicked off basketball and baseball teams in quick succession.  Took to it like I should have been doing it all along and fell in love immediately.  It helped that the level in Texas at the time wasn't that high.  Wrestled NCWA in college for 2 years.

Wrestled from 2nd grade to senior year. Got burnt out somewhere between 4th and 6th grade and just practiced until Jr High. Started loving it again Freshman yr. Took a year off after HS then wrestled JUCO for a year - couldn't handle school and wrestling at that level, which stinks but I'm glad I gave it a shot, got rid of any "what if?" thoughts in my head.

I'm a HS assistant coach now. I like it a lot. Love working with kids and giving back to the community and still being "competitive" in some aspect. Get to drill and go live as much as I want/see fit, which is fun.

If it weren't for wrestling I wouldn't have found my path/calling in life, I owe a lot to the sport and the people that I met because of it.

Despite my claim of not coming back I thought I would throw in my wrestling experience. Wrestled only freshman through senior year hs. I won a grand total of 3 varsity matches and the best I did was a JV league title. In the last 30 years I have been to about 20 state tournaments as a spectator. I should have chosen swimming!

I’m not really sure why I have been on mat dot com for nearly 19 years. I’m kind of like ally sheedy on breakfast club. Didn’t need to be serving detention time but had nothing else to do on Saturday mornings—so I started posting .... for no particular reason.
