The point I failed to make is Yianni and JO have both seen more international success. They have both beat world medalists and/or won international tournaments. Zain has not. He had months to prepare for Yianni and still barely got that win. Correct, Yianni could/should have prepared more for Zain or had a better game plan. I think JO/Yianni has a much better shot to bring home a medal at World's/Olympics than ZR.

That's how it was in 2016. J'den won OTT's, then won the LCQ.
-
I'm not sure anyone has ever said Zain wrestles open and loose.
-
Has he really? Yes, he did win Final X...after having months to prepare for 1 match.
-
Unreal. You would think Wrestle Canada would want to put the best product on the mat for Pan-Ams and the Olympics.
-
Zain is a heck of a wrestler, but his style does not translate to international success. He is very good domestically, but it is time to stop sending him as a rep for Team USA. Send Yianni or JO.

How am I going to watch the Olympic Trials

Download a free VPN and stream it from the UWW site, assuming they will have it. -
Not sure. He was not enrolled in class for the 2nd semester last season, from what I've heard. Not sure if that has any effect on eligibility.

Word is that Connor Brown is at MU this season. I would bet one of the 2 lower weights will be his this season.

Joey McKenna should be somewhere in the 65kg mix.
-
Premier destination? Nope.

I think Cox would do just fine.

@PackWrestle just tweeted that Gwiz' first match is a rematch of his bronze bout from last year. Absolutely electric first round, at multiple weights, this year!
