  1. Congrats to him. I liked how SD was trending but I understand the move. Hopefully someone can keep the Jackrabbits trending in the same direction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I don’t see why everyone is making a big deal about letting him wrestle. It’s not like he is the first to ever wrestle in the NCAA tournament injured. He knew something was wrong and probably even that it was a possible ACL injury, but no one knew for sure that it was torn without the MRI. The kid wanted to wrestle it’s not like he was forced to. Does it show that he is a tough kid? Absolutely. It is silly to say that he shouldn’t have been allowed to continue when he wanted to keep wrestling for something he had worked hard for all season. It is not like they sent him back out there after being diagnosed with a massive concussion. Just think if they had told him he couldn’t wrestle and then went and had the MRI and end up with just a torn meniscus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Plus starting with Lee vs Suriano is good for people tuning in on ESPN. If a casual viewer tunes in and the first match is a 1-0 win on riding time they will probably not want to watch any more. I really think the first few matches need to be action packed to keep people watching on ESPN who may not typically watch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Definitely looked like it popped out, but is this the same issue from big 10s? I hadn’t heard anything about a shoulder issue before. Hopefully not a torn labrum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Anyone know what happened to Kemmerer in his last match? Looked like a shoulder issue which is never good in wrestling. Is that why he defaulted out at big 10 and just aggravated again or was this something new? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I hope the answer is no he can’t beat Haught Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Not saying you are wrong but McFadden did major him in the dual. I think it was by 12 points.
  8. Come on guys, Suriano was mad at Cael because he wanted to be declared out sooner so the alternate could get into the tournament.
  9. I vote Zain. How many people have actually scored 30 before? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I was kind of thinking the same thing. Especially if Suriano is actually hurt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. It will be interesting anyway and I am looking forward to it.
  12. According to the NCAA twitter they will be releasing the 1 and 2 seeds starting at 4. https://twitter.com/ncaawrestling?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ncaa.com%2Fchampionships%2Fwrestling%2Fd1
  13. Apparently we will be getting the 1 and 2 seeds starting at 4.
  14. Haha. Very true the take down was last second.
  15. Do we actually know what is wrong with Suriano? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. True but I think that makes it even better. He was that good to AA with one arm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. All this Nolf talk got me thinking, what is the best comeback from injury at NCAAs? I am talking about injured in the same year of their NCAAs performance. The two that come to mind for me are Randy Lewis and Devin Carter. Lewis took 7th with only one arm. Carter was declared out for the year with a complete tear of the hamstring and made it back to take second behind Stieber. Both are great combacks. Hard to say how Nolf and Suriano would rank because we don't really know the full extent of their injuries right now. But if they do win how would they rank?
  18. Yes but Big 10 is very deep at 165 this year and last year McFadden was redshirting so he was not in the ACC tournament. ACC was not great at 165 last year. Also last year Campbell was wrestling very well and this year not so much. He was the 10 seed going into NCAAs last year. Highly doubt he gets seeded that high this year. 19. Okay well maybe a win over an auto qualifier OR someone who earned a bid for the conference. That way you could still beat someone at the conference tournament who had previously earned a spot and qualify. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Solomon did win his first match and does deserve to go. Maybe they could put something in there that says you must have at least one win over an auto qualifier during the year to be considered? Edit: considered to steal a bid that is. For the UVA guy in this case. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Has to be the first time a spot has been stolen without actually winning a match. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I wouldn’t say he earned his spot. He didn’t actually win a match. He just got lucky when Solomon got a concussion. Could have been 0-20 and would have qualified. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
