  1. Lee is a good athlete and a great wrestler.  I do think he lacks the athleticism, especially lateral movement and agility, that you usually see with the high level guys at 65kg. Honestly, I think he’s more athletic than maybe one or two guys in Final X.

He had the leg 9 times, Bernie. He should learn how to finish.

He was wrestling RBY, defending National champion who beat Daton Fix. I’m sure he’s really easy to finish on. Desanto isn’t going to beat RBY but that was a good effort. Did you see RBY’s facial expressions after the match? Either he was sick or wrestling Desanto isn’t enjoyable

i was calling newbie silly for thinking Flo's strategy was to trick people. it's obviously not, and it's foolish to think it is. i never said anyone who got confused by our watch parties was silly. you either misunderstood my post or are just trolling. for the record, its cool either way.

anyway, our data includes measuring how long people stay viewing the watch parties (and all the other streams). if everyone was clicking on the watch party and then quickly turning it off, we'd notice it. but most people aren't. they are, instead, watching for a long periods of time and engaging with the watch party chat function in the app. which is why we are continuing to do them. maybe that changes and we stop doing them. only time will tell!

Do you guys also have data monitoring Twitter engagement? If so, did Pyles lose a lot of engagement following the Willie trials? It seems for as many followers he has, he gets pretty limited engagement lately.

    Are you using a pseudonym?

You claim to be a research scientist, but how can we be sure that you actually exist?

I’m not sure it’s a pseudonym but it’s certainly not my real name. Are you the A. Hamilton I remember from my government class?

Of course there’s a difference between posting anonymously on a wrestling forum and publishing an article for public dissemination.  I certainly exist, I’m merely an economics professor. Most wouldn’t call me a scientist!

Are you talking about this article? Irv O'nian is a pseudonym, but congrats on "debunking" his existence by googling. the same person wrote to Foley's mailbag around the same time using the same pseudonym.

And yes, some of y'alls criticism is nonsense. it's just complaining about something that is made up and fictitious. but some of it is good and I appreciate the good criticism!

I recall inquiring about the individual’s authenticity at the time and it was never clarified that the name was a pseudonym. I guess I was holding you guys to a higher standard.  I can’t imagine any other media outlet referencing a professor (or any person) by a pseudonym and not providing that information to the reader - it’s a bit peculiar.

OMG that is hilarious.  "from the best wrestling school in the SEC."

It was often repeated back then that University of Missouri had “the best wrestling school in the SEC.” Maybe I heard it enough that I didn’t find it as hilarious.

  7. Spey seems like one of those fake smart guys. I remember the time he wrote a story that cited some research professor that didn’t actually exist - since I share that profession, it was easy to debunk.

He really isn’t the ideal candidate to log on here to dismiss the criticisms of Flo. One has to hand it to him though: he toes the company line but it isn’t a long-run equilibrium. Flo is losing ground fast.
