  1. Ha, I don't think that sequence will be in the series, but I did review that clip frame by frame when it originally went down. It was super close, but I actually thought it was a takedown for Hidlay. Lke others have said, that does not mean Nolf would have necessarily lost since that would have changed the trajectory of the match and Nolf's strategy going forward.
  2. Hey guys, I am creating a new GIF series containing daily clips of Jason Nolf takedowns alongside my text analysis. Above is a link to Day 1 for those interested (I'm currently on Day 6). You can follow the series on my YouTube channel community tab: https://www.youtube.com/user/dps83189/community or on Twitter: https://twitter.com/DPSBreakdowns Take care, DPS
  3. Interesting stuff - appreciate the detailed background info!
  4. Damn - that is an insane list of potential guys at 133 next year.
  5. Interesting - appreciate the background info!
  6. The way he penetrates and finishes the head outside single reminds me of Zauerbek Sidakov (2x World champ from Russia). In both cases, the entries look awkward, but are also deceptively fast and difficult to counter. I wonder if Kemerer studied film of Sidakov's outside single.
  7. Thanks for info. Between the two oly redshirts and the regular redshirt, Micic will be nearly 25 years old in his final NCAA season.
  8. Based on Michigan's website, Micic took an Oly redshirt in the 2015-2016 season. Are you allowed to take an Oly redshirt a second time?
  9. Thanks for sharing! The US tab really highlights Burroughs' recent dominance. From 2011 - 2018, he Medal'ed in 7 of those 8 years (5 of which were gold). Super impressive.
  10. For those interested in film study, here is a video I created analyzing 2018 World Champ Zaurbek Sidakov's Slide-By technique:
  11. Appreciate it! Looks like it was only 1 takedown for each, but H. Yazdani's underhook pushout game is very effective. He seems to be a bit bigger and stronger than he was last year.
  12. Do you happen to have a link to the H. Yazdani v. Ghasempour match video?
  13. Taylor has been successful vs Yazdani, but "mops the floor with him" is overstating it. In both of their matches, Yazdani has gotten the better of Taylor in the first period (3-2, 6-2, respectively). Taylor's ability to maintain a relentless pace throughout the entire matches (and Yazdani's inability to keep up with it) has been the difference, however.
  14. Hey all, I created a video analyzing Jason Nolf's 2019 NCAA Championship run. If you're into that kind of thing, please check it out!
  15. Love it. Dake is always fun for fantasy matchups. I'd also like to see Dake vs. Aniuar Geduev and Dake vs. Hassan Yazdani.
