My shock announcement was going to be that you were capable of writing an intelligible sentence. But I’ll have to cancel it for the time being.

I'm glad you've conceded the point that Mizzou does not have a robust post-grad RTC and that is why Eierman transferred. You could have saved us all a lot of time by just admitting this from the get go instead of trying to claim Dom Bradley constitutes a serious RTC program.
Love it when a guy forgets where he is in an argument, backs himself into a corner, and ends up accidentally completely conceding the point. Another masterclass from MizzouGrad.

lol one guy in the last decade. great college program. don't have the resources to pay multiple athletes really good stipends right now or are just choosing not to.
did you ever comment on the US performance in Tokyo btw? Wasn't that supposed to be a disaster?

Proud to acknowledge the Mizzou program being so successful at Junior Worlds this past week (in Russia).  Three Mizzou wrestlers competed in the freestyle competition; Colton Hawks, Keegan O'Toole and Rocky Elam.  All three wrestlers will be true sophomores next season.
Colton Hawks wrestled well, but won 1 and lost 1.  Both O'Toole and Elam won Gold sweeping their brackets.
O'Toole was behind on points in the final minute of his quarter and semi final matches.   He won both those matches with cradles/pins giving credit to his extensive folk style training in the US.  It is rumored that his opponents are now researching "what is a cradle" after losing to O'Toole.
These accomplishments are further evidence of the hard work, great coaching, talented wrestlers and great recruiting going on at Mizzou.  I look forward to another successful season coming up soon!

    Looking at 97kg:
    3 Olympic/World Champions
    - Sadulaev (2x Olympic champ, 4x world champ, 1x silver)
    - Snyder (1x Olympic champ, 2x world champ, 2x silver, 1x bronze)
    - Sharifov (1x Olympic champ, 1x world champ, 1x silver, 2x bronze)
    7 other World/Olympic medalists
    - Odikadze (1x bronze)
    - Mohammamdian (1x bronze)
    - Salas (2x silver, 1x bronze)
    - Nurov (1x bronze)
    - Ibragimov (1x bronze)
    - Conyedo (2x bronze)
    - Saritov (2x bronze)

That's 28 total medals with 11 Gold after Tokyo.  A lot of the 97kg guys were old though, and some of their medals were from a long time ago.

I don't know if 97kg was the toughest, but it was probably the most decorated and featured the #1 wrestler in Sadulaev.

O'Toole literally picked the guy up in a cradle and pinned him. He probably could have gotten a 4 for the turn if he didn't pin him.

Zahid is currently 23. That's the same age JB won his first world title. Taylor and Dake both won their first world titles at age 27. In addition, Taylor and Dake were both older in 2016 than anyone in the next crop is now when they both failed to make the Rio team. FWIW, a 20 y.o Zahid was competitive against Dake at FinalX 3 years ago.

BTW, Gable Steveson just turned 21 a couple of months ago--he's in the next crop too.

Dake, Taylor, Burroughs, Cox, and Snyder combined for 2 Junior World medals—both by Snyder.

If the age range of your crop is from JB to Snyder, then the next crop is from Zahid Valencia (hs c/o 2015) to the current class of high school juniors. That next crop has already brought home 25+ Junior World medals and has some years to add even more.
