I don't think your picks are that bad.  I also have the same 4 PSU guys winning...and I'm not a PSU fan.

This is a pretty good analysis, but I disagree with some of your points.  First being that ADS is overrated.  There is no reason why he should be ranked higher than Bravo-Young who beat him twice last season.  If they wrestle again, my money's on Bravo-Young.  To put him down for 2nd place points at NCAA's is a bit aggressive.
Eierman at #1 is another one where I can see some under-performance.  He has a tough weight with both N. Lee and Rivera in conference and possibly NCAA's.  He could be anywhere between 1-3 at NCAA, but not a lock for 1st by any means.
Murin at #5 is really high considering he has never placed at NCAA's and is up a weight from last year.  He may AA this year, but it will be lower than 5 imo.
Young is another one I would be concerned about.  He completely fell apart at Big 10's last year.
Kem is the best guy at 174 right now, but Carter is right there imo.
Brands at 184 might not score any points at NCAA.
Warner is inconsistent and I'm not sure he places as high as his #4 NCAA ranking.
    I think Kerkvliet outscores Cassiopi.
Despite the rankings, I have PSU better than Iowa at 133, 184, and 285.  141 is a coin flip.  I also wouldn't be surprised if Bartlett beat/outscored Murin and same for Berge vs. Young.  Beard beating Warner could also happen.  Bottom line is that Iowa is the heavy favorite due to Spencer, but this is a lot closer than you think.

Agree 100%.  Not the same weight without Vito and Glory.  Would also like to see Micic come back and wrestle 133 so that Ragusin goes back down to 125.

    To bolster your statement:
Kemerer won Midlands in 2016. He's been in college since summer of 2015.
Eierman will turn 25 in May. He wrestled in the US Open and US World Team Trials in 2017.
Marinelli took a redshirt year. He's wrestled as Iowa's starting 165 for four seasons since that time.

Those guys were proven title contenders when the PSU freshmen were in high school, and then years have passed by since. Several of them. PSU freshman were in high school or maybe even junior high for Bartlett and Howard.

Who cares if Flo has Fix ranked #3?  It's a two horse race between Spencer and Gable anyway.

Sorry, I was referring to the dual where RBY had him in a cradle and he injury defaulted out.  Forgot that they wrestled later at Big-10 championships.

Aren't Micic and Myles Amine already qualified for the Olympics?
Those who are already qualified for the Olympics due to placing top-5 at Worlds can't enter the qualifier.  So Micic and Myles Amine would be free to enter NCAA's.

Zain lost to Tobier of Cuba at Worlds (who is Frank's former countryman, teammate, and friend).  Zain also lost to Destribats of Argentina at the Olympic qualifier earlier this year.  If Frank were reading your posts, he would be laughing.  I think a more competitive match-up for Zain, if you want to put him against a Cuban, would be Echemendia in freestyle.

The best case scenario is that he beats Shak in the first round and Lujan upsets Gabe.  I could see Gavin making the finals under those circumstances.  However, it would be next to impossible for him to beat Shak, Gabe, and Nate/Myles in succession.

Oof.  That means what is MY optimal lineup.
    125) Lee TF Howard
    Iowa 5-0
    133) Bravo-Young DEC Desanto
    Iowa 5-3
    141) N.Lee DEC Eirmann
    Penn State 6-5
    149) Verkleeren DEC Murin
    Penn State 9-5
    157) K.Brands DEC J.Lee
    Penn State 9-8
    165) Marinelli DEC Berge
    Iowa 11-9
    174) Kemererererr DEC Starocci
    Iowa 14-9
    184) Brooks DEC Assad
    Iowa 14-12
    197) Warner DEC Beard
    Iowa 17-12
    285) Kerkvliet DEC Cassiopi
    Iowa 17-15
Iowa we know their lineup. Only question is who goes 141/149.
Penn State has many more options.  Bartlett at 141 and N.Lee at 149 is one of them, but I believe it hurts them here.
    Kerk could pin Cass.
    Beard could beat Warner.
    Brooks could bonus Assad(yep).
    Starocco could beat Kemererererr(also yep).
Marinelli could bonu ls Berge, but Berge healthy at 165 could be a sleeper AA for then.
    J.Lee(or Verk?) could beat K.Brands.
Lee could Major or worse Murin at 141 or 149, and beat Eirmann soundly at '19 Senior Nattys.
Verk could be at 157 if Bartlett is in and could lose or win any match, ever.
Bartlett could be at 141 and is an immediate High AA threat there.
RBY is Tier 1 at 133 and I believe is in Desanto's head now.
Lee with techfall whoever Penn State outs out.  Howard isn't on his level nor is Meredith.

What are the senior freestyle resumes of Dean, Brooks, Foster, and Jackson?  What notable international wins do those four have?  What is the evidence that any of those four are good at freestyle?
To suggest that Provisor, a 2x Olympian in Greco and the 2018 Pan Am freestyle champion, doesn't belong in a field with Dean, Brooks, Foster, and Jackson is laughable.  Especially when none of those guys have even wrestled at a Pan Am championship or medaled in the 2019 senior nationals (where Taylor and Nickal were not in the 86 bracket).

No, he beat Canada, Brazil, Peru, and Mexico to win his bracket.  When you stack up his international freestyle resume against the four guys already named in the tournament (Dean, Brooks, Jackson, and Foster), he is more credentialed than at least two of them.  He would be more than competitive with the rest of the field, imo.

ShakaAloha got a reaction from nhs67 in 195 Bracket...
You left out Cael, Varner, Snyder, and Cunningham, who I all think can beat Shak right now.  However, I'm not sure that Varner and Snyder can make 195 anymore.
I think Taylor and Nickal would destroy him.  Bekzod, Gomez, Hall, Brooks, and Starroci would beat him too imo.
A couple other names you left out that I would pick over Shak are Morgan McIntosh and Kyle Conel.
I think Espinal and Beard would be close matches.  If he beats Espinal it's because Espinal is too old and Beard because he is too young.
Nolf, Joseph, and Zain are far superior wrestlers to Shak, but they might be too small.
He did beat Cassar a couple years ago in the wrestle-off but that was before Cassar won NCAA's.  Cassar would beat him now, but can't make 195.  I also think Kerkvliet would beat Shak, but Kerk also can't make 195.
He would beat Berge, Joe Lee, and Verk.

I previously posted about the website I created, FreestyleWrestling.org. This contains all of the matches I've compiled for the top 20 Men's Freestyle guys in the world at each Olympic weight since 2018. So, there are roughly 8-10 thousand match results. Goal is to add non-Olympic weights by next Spring.
I have updated the site and added the results for the 2019 US Men's and Women's National teams since 2018. Felt like you all would be interested in that and could use it as a resource for the upcoming Olympic Trials and beyond.
Because there are so many results, I've noticed a few errors here and there. I'm doing my best to clean them up. If you do use the site and find an error, let me know by sending an me an email at JonathanJKozak@Gmail.com.

Thanks for your responses.  The ducking Carr did to get the #1 seed at B1G 2 years ago also bothered me.  In the end, wrestling karma got him as he didn't make the podium at NCAA's.

    1) Purdue should have handled where to put Limmex better last year.  He was a senior who was a grinder for them for three seasons prior.  Keep in mind Limmex is a Michigander guy(him and Schroder both went to Grand Rapids Catholic Central high school).  I believe he was better than Filius and more consistent than Parriot(who looked to have weight issues).  That aside, let him go 165 the entire season then...
    2) For whatever reason it still annoys me that he was able to duck every difficult match, save for Eirman in 2018-2019 and 'earn' the 1 seed.
    3) No.  I'm wired a bit differently.  I am actually a fan of all the B1G and MAC schools and will root for them against other conferences for every sport.  Michigan schools before B1G before MAC.  I pretty much follow where the kiddos from Michigan head and root for those colleges, too.  My blood flows green blood, though.

What doesn't make sense is that the International Judo Federation is holding a Grand Slam event in Hungary starting tomorrow.  USA Judo is sending 13 athletes to compete.  If USA Judo is sending athletes and a delegation to compete in Europe, it does not make sense that USA Wrestling would skip the World Championships.
