  1. It didn't dawn on you that in every interview he has ever done he has been extremely humble and respectful towards his past, present, and future opponents? Also, I am sure he doesn't want to run his mouth about his training partner and mentor that he'll be rolling with for at least the next two college seasons. He knows he has the skills to defeat him. Oliver also knows this. It will be a good match, in one I think will be much like the first time Zain and Tank went H2H. If they meet I do have Oliver winning. However it will be very close.
  2. Nevills is much better at this point than either of his brothers were. If he redshirts, it gives him four more good years. I see no reason he cannot win that gauntlet one or two times. I don't see who right now has better prospects than Brooks and Beard at 184/197 respectively from 2021-2024.
  3. Bugger. I totally missed that it wasn't Hassan. I was super stoked to see that. Legitimately 3 of the best U25 grapplers on the planet at 97kg would surely get me going. FACEPALM Apologies for my ignorance.
  4. Do you think maybe Iran is trying to get the most out of their team this year for 2020? Seeing if Yazdani can compete at 97kg? I could see him growing into 92kg. He definitely has the skill for it, however I don't think his size has caught up, yet. At 97kg every one of the Russian grapplers in their top 5 and most former Soviet countries have physical monsters. I am intrigued at the idea of Yaz at 213lbs for this years worlds and next years Oly-games. He needs to get on that Okie State bulk job routine, though.
  5. Eh I am a bit excited at this string of dominance that Penn State keeps churning out(even as a Michigander). I would concede that 6.5 is a fair bet on both sides. I would definitely buy the over on that if they end up putting a redshirt on all three next year.
  6. Yeah... if the over/under on Brooks, Beard, and Nevills came out as 8.5 total NCAA titles, I might just take the over. That is right now. I imagine if all three are able to 'redshirt' next season, that the over/under might be even higher. It is frightening that PSU's next 'duo' may actually be a 'trio' and they may be just as dominant as far as bonus point potential goes.
  7. I noticed that as well. It'll be interesting to see where all the cards fall. After preseeds being released I wouldn't be surprised to see a few guys shuffle about to avoid the matchups. I am frothing a 65kg. I am curious if YD meets up w/ JO in the semis if they actually wrestle. Also hella frothing at Pantaleo's draw at 70kg. I could see him or Deakin making a run to the finals.
  8. I don't see any of these three registered. Are you looking at this year's?
  9. Aside for Zillmer and Moore(who has recency against him) I don't see anyone he won't toss here. Zillmer gives us an interesting look due to his ability to go straight Greco on him. Nickal will show he's arrived.
  10. Ah yeah found it. It was the 2017 US Open. Pantaleo actually beat Chamberlain twice there, 8-6 and 5-1. Both Nolf and Pantaleo lost to Pami(now up at 74). Two years changes a lot.
  11. Pantaleo does too doesn't he? They must be weighing his run in the WTT heavily still. I believe their win over him was 2 Opens ago?
  12. UofM fellars look to have favorable draws. Pantaleo at 6 has me frothing. His toughest match to the finals may very well be Deakin. Massa at 10 does as well. Shields rematch then Gantt then Wick? Yes please. Coon at 1. I want to see him dwarf White.
  13. Eh, I wouldn't go that far. I do believe a lot of folks put their beer goggles on and won't admit that the Cap'n can be beaten let alone dominated. I just didn't like how folks would disregard Sad's victory as a fluke and pencil Snyder in as an automatic favorite when he has lost since, where Sad has not.
  14. I agree with both of those projections. I don't want it to be so, but it likely will be.
  15. Admittedly my desire for it is selfish. I want to see him in the mix with next year's super frosh in Hidlay. Can you think of a potential top 6 stronger than Hall, Valencia(Zahid), Amine, Kemerererrr, Lewis(Mehki), and Hidlay(whom I expect to duplicate his brother's RS-FR success regardless of who is here).
  16. He didn't lose, though. Disadvantage or not he put the result in to win Euros. Snyder was one and done at a Russian tournament where she lost to the 3rd string grappler(who would be first string in all but maybe 5 countries, but still). I want the Cap'n to win it all again, but Sad is better at this point.
  17. You're a well informed guy, dare I even say smart... You follow wrestling avidly. Don't act stupid. Get off his nuts. Or is Yariguin too far in the past to not remember that Snyder lost to a guy who was barely 3rd string for Russia(if that)? Please see above. Yes. Results.
  18. Lee and Hall were two of our best youth hammers on the international circuit. I want to believe that Sanderson and Brands know how to develop talent for that stage, however I am concerned that it will hurt them more than help them at this stage.
  19. There is nothing in that match or since from either wrestler that makes me think that there isn't a substantial gap there now. Sad has improved more since that match than Snyder has.
  20. This being understood I would think that B1G schools would be prevalent in landing the higher percentage if them, right? The most prestigious conference and all. Several teams much improved needing a bump at a position or two and great facilities pretty much down the line. Indiana and Michigan state made what I would consider great improvements last season throughout the year and from the previous season too. Any chance either of them takes a senior or two in looking for one more ride? Who is all in the portal as of now?
  21. I was also hoping to see some Cenzo and Lewis(VTech) this year too.
  22. I plead ignorance! I have been on here for evv urr but merely lurked. Posting newb still.
