  1. My nephews are getting into WWE and I find myself having to constantly correct myself from saying WWF. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. Fair point. I could be completely wrong. But like Gable needed a year to adjust from high school to college, I think he will need some time to adjust from college to International Gold. That’s not a knock on him. I hope he goes to Japan and dominates. I’m a fan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks for sharing that. This is why I think Gable is going to need multiple years of high level international competition before he will win Gold. We don’t have guys like this for him to practice with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. You are best off just ignoring him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. No kidding. This six weight classes thing is a joke. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Oh Okay. That is insanity. College Snyder beats freshman Gable in a close one. Sophomore Gable beats college Snyder in a close one. After that Gable just destroys him and everyone else in the US. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Who is underestimating Gable? Everyone that I have read is saying that he is in the discussion for gold. But it’s not going to be a walk in the park. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I don’t know. He’s not like Snyder who had dealt with wrestling guys that size in the NCAAs. Say you just throw him into the tournament without prepping for it. He isn’t used to being out muscled to that extent. He isn’t used to have guys that large fend off his shots. I think a handful of guys at the trials beat him. He gets destroyed at the Olympics. Hell, even Snyder was beaten by Coon after winning a couple of world medals and the Olympics. I think people underestimate the difference in size and strength. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. At the top of international freestyle? I seriously doubt it. That’s a ton of weight to give up when someone is that small. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Then the IOC needs to open it up to allow multiple people from the same country at each weight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Coaches could decide to have a wrestle off between guys. Btw. I’m pro keeping the tournament how it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Gotcha. And yes you are right. One only needs to look at how politics is done in this country. It’s not about people coming together to figure out the best solution to the problems that face us. It’s all about being an ideologue. But that’s all I’ll say about that. 14. That’s fascinating. If I were to coach again I’d have to rethink how I would determine who was starting. You can have a situation where wrestler A is clearly better than wrestler B but just had a bad match during wrestle offs. Would you determine the US world team and World Cup team the same way as the Olympics or would you do more of what high schools and colleges have moved to? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Oh yeah. We are in agreement then! Maybe this situation will lead to a change in future weigh ins. I don’t know what the best time would be. All I know is that same day weigh ins are a must. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
