Stove_Pipe 15 Report post Posted July 29, 2015 ^^Very good, big conference. If you added the WWC's 33 total team points to the Big12's total at the 2015 NCAA Tournament, it's a hefty 190, which would put the newly alligned ten-team conference in second place, behind the B1G's 580.5 total points. In third place in total points would be the six-team ACC, which tallied 171.5 total team pts at the 2015 NCAA's.

Stove_Pipe 15 Report post Posted July 30, 2015 ^^I wonder which conference might accept Grand Canyon, when they become Div I eligible?
JohnnyThompsonnum1 101 Report post Posted July 30, 2015 Stovepipe -I think the same question applies to Fresno State when they become a varsity team again. I'd like to see both the Antelopes and the Bulldogs in the PAC-12 Conference myself.
Pinnum 799 Report post Posted July 30, 2015 If anyone is not aware of the Arizona State vs Grand Canyon issue... http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaab-the-dagger/arizona-state-attempt-keep-grand-canyon-university-division-153010564.html Prior to making the move to Division-I, the two schools athletic departments had a great working relationship. http://www.azcentral.com/sports/colleges/articles/2011/08/22/20110822grand-canyon-university-asu-basketball-new-arena.html http://gculopes.com/news/2011/11/6/MBB_1106115021.aspx?path=mbball From a wrestling standpoint, even if the ASU boycott remains, this is a good addition for both schools. Now a team making a trip into the state can pick up two Division-I duals in the same trip and if they are in different conferences, it will lead to more teams traveling in to the state. WillieBoy 713 Report post Posted July 30, 2015 John Smith has to be contemplating full retirement now so he won't have to face Utah Valley and North Dakota. At least their coaches. Utah Valley and the coach obsessed with his hairdo and North Dakota where they spend half the time trying to explain the movie FARGO was mainly about Minnesota. 1 Bloate reacted to this
Bloate 61 Report post Posted July 30, 2015 ...North Dakota where they spend half the time trying to explain the movie FARGO was mainly about Minnesota. One of the most insightful statements ever posted on this board.
