Off the wall question, but does anyone think any of these cadets could place in the top 10 of senior worlds?  In London, Torghrul Asgarov won gold at only 19.  Namzi Avluca won a world title at 19.  Any of these 17 year olds capable of placing top 10?

Sadulaev won a senior world title just 1 year after winning a Cadet world title. I have to imagine he could have been top 10 as a cadet, but he is clearly a rare case.

Good call on Sadulaev, man.  I just wonder what people see in this latest crop of talent.  Is there a Sadulaev or Asgarov in the mix?

Jamil Kelly did a great job coaching from what I could see.  Is this not the best performance (any age group)  for a US squad internationally in a long time?

If I'm not mistaken, our University Mens won the worlds last year.

I honestly didn't watch enough (time difference) to tell, but did see some serious talent in Juniors this/last year (Iran has 2 senior members who won juniors last year).

That said, Russia won 5 weights, including some light ones. With Lebedev getting up there in age, I wouldn't be surprised to see one of their champs take the reigns  at 57 in 2017.

Womens wrestling is just not done in Iran. They allowed them to take part in a form of wrestling (think of it as Iranian Folkstyle). But no freestyle, it's not allowed. I don't know who won womens 42kg cadets but she wasn't Iranian like the list says.

Abdullah, you have Irans 42kg greco champ as the 42kg womens champ in your list haha.
