Iranian Juniors Documentary

Recommended Posts

A few years back (two to three, if my memory serves me right), there was a 45 minute documentary regarding the Iranian Junior team, where some of the kids came from, what their motivations were and where they were headed. I thought it was originally on CNN, but I can't seem to remember if that is correct. Does anyone have a link to that video anymore? I never finished watching the whole thing and now I cannot find it. Danka.

Unfortunately, the video link seems broken. The video is very, very interesting.   I thought I had  that video downloaded somewhere. :(

That was it. Thanks a ton, Plasmodium.

last season my kid did a practice with the schoolboy state team (he was top of novice, but, he went as a training partner)... it was ran by assistant national greco coach ahad

i was super impressed with the philosophy he brings with him from Iran... a much different way of training... we are lucky to have him...

What happened to Peyman from this film?  The one who was completely devastated when he lost if I remember correctly.  I thought he was on track to be their world team rep this year.

Lost in trials, finished 3rd or 4th, since they didn't trust Ghasemi they gave him and another wrestler RezaeiGhaleh a second chance to challenge Ghasemi in Polish tourney but lost once again (undeservedly though) to RezaeiGhaleh.
