Are guys with non-Olympic redshirts allowed to enter Olympic qualifying events?

Does anyone know if guys such as the Valencias will be allowed to compete in the December Olympic qualifying event when they're taking "normal" redshirts (as opposed to olympic redshirts)?

Yes they can. The only time there is issues with red shirts competing in international styles during the year is if it conflicts with the school schedule.
