carp 58 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 OK, I know tyhe Scufle scoring system is screwy, but whe you add up the PSU scores, the only way you get to 102 is if Gulibon's (not listed as UN) is counted instead of Conaway. So what's going on ?
two-six 1 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 They did have him listed, and were using his points early. Maybe this hasn't been corrected yet. He was NOT in a PSU singlet. Looks correct to me. rodneydeeeee 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 I've been a bit confused too. Who's attached/unattached at PSU HW?
two-six 1 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 All guys in PSU singlets are attached and the way I understand it, they take the highest point scorer for each weigh that is attached.

wrestlingnerd 3,012 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 Gulibon's wrestling for 3rd at the Scuffle. Nice job Jimmy! He had a barnburner of a match to beat highly-touted Grey (Cornell greyshirt) in overtime. I thought it was one of the best matches of the Scuffle so far. mvattivo 47 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 Gulibon's wrestling for 3rd at the Scuffle. Nice job Jimmy! He had a barnburner of a match to beat highly-touted Grey (Cornell greyshirt) in overtime. I thought it was one of the best matches of the Scuffle so far. I've been watching constantly the last two days, and I agree that this match was one of the best of the Scuffle. What Gulibon did to win this match against a wrestler as good as Grey is pretty amazing. Gulibon was down by 2 with about 40 seconds remaining. He gets the takedown and looks to ride-out the remaining 30 seconds to send the match to OT. On a scramble, he gives up a locked hands and an escape, so, he is now down 2 again with 15 seconds left. He battles to get the tying TD and send the match to OT, where he converts on the winning TD. Amazing effort !!

I hope they stay at the same weight for a while. Theirs could become one of the most entertaining rivalries in college.

two-six 1 Report post Posted January 2, 2013 Forget the score, but Gulibon was losing and had 2+min of riding against him. Wasn't out of it, but needed a couple TDs.

tech_fall 3 Report post Posted January 3, 2013 Gulibon still looks like a small 133. Huge upside for him when he opens up he is unstobably still appears to be getting used to the D1 level up a weight class. Can only see positive in his future with his talent and work ethic. 4th at the scuffle is still a great showing win over grey and major over Decam along with a few Techs
