Rutgers vs #3 Nebraska

Recommended Posts

WOW is right, what a bounce back for Goodale's squad.  Gravina bouncing back after the no call pin vs iowa to beat #3 dudley, ritchie lewis bouncing back and beating #9 berger (although he did lose to jersey's mascola too this w.e) , perrotti continuing a great season beating #4 wilson (now he has beat the #3 and #4 guys in the nation).  ash beating adibin who he lost last year to. great win, Ru is not a athletic powerhouse in any sense and that probably is one best wins in any sport

Gravina was allowed to hang on Dudley's leg for the final 30 seconds of the match with no five second count, stalling, or stalemate call. That allowed him to get over 1 minute riding time and ultimately prevail. The non-call didn't decide the match, but it took away an opportunity that Dudley should have had for another restart. It's a tough situation because it seemed like Dudley was close to a reversal, but I don't think that matters in enforcing this rule. Gravina should have been warned and then a new start with 20-25 seconds on the clock should have happened.

I am sure there were others but these were the first two in my google search...

Always a big fan of duals.  There is a lot more parity in duals.  A lot of excitement.

Great dual - congrats to Rutgers!

"We needed a huge upset somewhere, and Nick [Gravina] got it" - @CoachGoodale"

P,S, It'll be interesting to see where Gravina is ranked after his back-to-back wins over the #8 and #4 ranked wrestlers.

Who was the # 8 wrestler he beat?
