Akgul exterminated anyone they put in front of him today, including the guy he beat in Vegas.

I don't see anyone touching him in Rio, including Makhov.

He is a monster, but Makhov wont have just gone through the greco tournament in Rio, and he will be singularly focused on capturing Olympic gold, before beginning his UFC career.   That said, no one is beating Akgul.

Interesting question: which of the big 3 (Burroughs, Sadulaev, Akgul) is most likely to NOT win the Olympics? Who would win in their stead?

I can't see anyone beating Agkul or Sadulaev.   Who has the biggest gap between them and their nearest competitor?  I'd give just a very slight edge to Sadulaev.   Burroughs, well i would not be shocked if Geduev beats JB in Rio.

And keep in mind, they also have to pass their drug tests.

With the above considered, Burroughs is my answer.

Anyone know what happened to green or Varner?

In the 2nd round, I saw Ibrahim Belukbasi of Turkey pinning Magomed Nurov (Dagestan/Macedonia). According to my info, Varner was suposed to wrestle Belukbasi in the 1st round. That means he has lost to him.
