LongShot 13 Report post Posted March 8, 2016 Where might he fit into the PSU lineup?
Guest Kingsland Report post Posted March 8, 2016 Just a guess, but he could take a year at the otc, and then redshirt, and take over 149 from Retherford the following year. However that all hinges on him being able to maintain 149 and likely beating out Joe Lee.
jstock 125 Report post Posted March 9, 2016 I predict that Manville will not spend 4 years at PSU
tightwaist 390 Report post Posted March 13, 2016 I predict that Manville will not spend 4 years at PSU I think you are right. I don't think he ultimately fits in to Penn State's style.
treep2000 1,152 Report post Posted March 13, 2016 Unfortunately, I predict that Manville will start at PSU, begin the transfer train, get lost in the shuffle... wrestle some freestyle... and fizzle out. I don't think he has a spot at PSU, or any of the top B1G programs. OR... I hope he realizes what his limitations are, and where he may best fit. Lehigh, Edinboro, Rutgers, WVU all should look real nice right now if I were him. Still get the full ride, still get the education. Be a starter/team leader, and potentially AA through that route. Too many blockers at PSU right now for him... Just my opinion...
LemonPie 1,368 Report post Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) Recruiting Sasso would make much more sense for PSU. Just dump him already and make sure you lock up Lee. Edited March 13, 2016 by LemonPie 1 treep2000 reacted to this
Perry 1,429 Report post Posted March 14, 2016 West Virginia already has Connor Flynn at 165 who beat Manville at Flo Nationals a year ago. Not sure if he'd have room there, either.
NJWC 305 Report post Posted March 14, 2016 No chance he lasts 4 years at PSU.

Seems unlikely that he will be able to do so when he just barely missed making 157 by 6.4 pounds this weekend.
Guest Kingsland Report post Posted March 15, 2016 Yea, he said that he's trying to go 145.5 for the Olympics, so I thought 149 would be doable, but it doesn't look like it.
