Axe_Spartan 205 Report post Posted April 13, 2016 Yeap, bad luck, but the good news is that he can return to practice in 6 weeks, so after all he won't miss Olympics. 1 Abdullahgadzhi Khuzin reacted to this
PRyan2012 351 Report post Posted April 13, 2016 (edited) Yes but in the last 4 years he is getting injured all the time. This last year it has been almost every few months. As soon as he heals he will go hard then get hurt again. I wish him the best. If he can just get fully healed before the Olympics I think he wins it and then he can retire. He should have been more than a two time champ. Just ask Sajidov-back injury kept him from being a 5 or 6 time champ-never won the Olympics either. I have not seen Saduleav-he must be listening to Sajidov and not taking a chance of injury so he can be assured of an Olympic title. NotReady 14 Report post Posted April 13, 2016 Maybe not the best form of conditioning for someone with a pre-existing ankle injury? Also, why was this being filmed? Misinformation?
Shiraz123 858 Report post Posted April 13, 2016 0% chance they will not be eating and drinking and also missing training for a whole month so close the Olympics because it's Ramadan. That won't be an issue, they'll get a cleric to exempt them or something. Some of them will probably not care in the first place, regardless Ramadan will not be an issue in terms of changing their training schedule. 1 Jaroslav Hasek reacted to this

Shiraz123 858 Report post Posted April 13, 2016 Hmm, I wasn't couting with the Ramadan, but does he care about it anyway? He personally might care, but this is the Olympics, not some minor Paris grand prix or something, they aren't going to fast for a whole month and miss training so close to the games just because they're religious. Yazdani has a lot of problems for Rio but Ramadan isn't one, lol. 3 newyorkwrestler, Abdullahgadzhi Khuzin and Axe_Spartan reacted to this
PRyan2012 351 Report post Posted April 13, 2016 I mean basically do Snyder and Varner have Golds because of Yazdani injuries? I say yes. But t hat is just how it goes. They need to tape him up and put him in the freezer before Rio. One more tourney and if healthy he will win it.

goldlover 28 Report post Posted April 13, 2016 That's too bad for Iran's most hopeful for gold :( Also Mohammadi (65) has injured. I'm really anxious by their hard training.
gutfirst 220 Report post Posted April 14, 2016 Fasting is only during daylight? Meals before sunrise and after sunset. Kids I trained that fasted managed to keep their training consistent, but at odd hours.

Cletus_Tucker 890 Report post Posted April 14, 2016 The thin skinned, insecure members of these board run rampant and in great numbers. A good example, gutfirst. Rather than have inside info, the high brows here would rather lose out, but have their exclusive club with out those they deem unworthy. This pace has really gone down hill. 1 littlepun reacted to this
maligned 529 Report post Posted April 14, 2016 (edited) Fasting is only during daylight? Meals before sunrise and after sunset. Kids I trained that fasted managed to keep their training consistent, but at odd hours. Exactly...night and day just flip-flop in terms of meals and workouts. Most people under the age of 40 in Muslim nations are more active than during the rest of the year during Ramadan--just a bit sleep-deprived and doing everything after dark. PRyan2012 351 Report post Posted April 15, 2016 I don't think Iran is managing Yazdani right. They have close to a sure Gold medalist if they keep the guy healthy. Everyone has a weakness I guess and Yazdani can't stay healthy but when he is healthy the guy wrecks people. I mean no one has ever teched Varner in his entire career from little league and Yazdani did it twice. Snyder and Varner, Gaz and the Russians are pretty even. Someone tell Iran to put Yazdani in the freezer, then pull him out right before the games begin. He doesn't have a problem making weight at only 5' 7". I really want him healthy and in the Olympic finals against Snyder. Would be the match of the games. We were robbed in 2012 with what should have been a Varner vs Yazdani. I really think Yazdani would have won but Varner wrestles well in big matches like at trials when he almost came through the mini tourney and dethroned Snyder.
