CoachWrestling 425 Report post Posted August 19, 2016 I think Midana is a tough matchup for Jordan.
nom 1,186 Report post Posted August 19, 2016 I didn't notice a tweak. Got in well. Hard to finish sometimes. Solid win. Can someone past when he is coming up again and on what mat? Thank you!
LemonPie 1,368 Report post Posted August 19, 2016 Looked a little tired. Hopefully just conserving energy.
T-nigs23 90 Report post Posted August 19, 2016 Thoughts? Seemed like something happened to JB during the match. Tweaked something maybe? I don't think he tweaked something, he was possibly just saving his energy for the later rounds. Why does NBCSN have to show these exciting speed walking races instead of wrestling? Smedley 467 Report post Posted August 19, 2016 I think Midana is a tough matchup for Jordan. Agreed that is not a good primer for Geduev in the qtrs.
Frank_Rizzo 336 Report post Posted August 19, 2016 (edited) Tweaked something?! Midana is a stud! Edited August 19, 2016 by Frank_Rizzo
boconnell 1,623 Report post Posted August 19, 2016 Everything is relative, but not a great effort. It appeared the length of Midana gave Burroughs a little trouble. I am sure JB is used to being the guy grabbing legs from long distance. Plus JB had a hard time getting angles/leverage against the length when he got the single. I think it would have been a great match for the double instead of the single. But an olympic win is an olympic win.

BigTimeFan 1,141 Report post Posted August 19, 2016 I agree he looked tired or something, but then I went back and watched their 2014 match in the worlds (link below), Midana was hard to score on back then and it was a close match, though JB was very hurt so it's hard to say. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQ1SSO4AXFM
T-nigs23 90 Report post Posted August 19, 2016 Dude its always exciting to see someone hustle to the bathroom! Lol when you put it that way I see your point. The world speedwalking record is probably held by someone about to crap themselves.

BigTimeFan 1,141 Report post Posted August 19, 2016 Meanwhile Geduev didn't look outstanding in his first round either. It was pretty close till the end.
