tec87 349 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Gahhhh I hate basketball. They make 1.5 seconds last 10 minutes!!! Get to the real action now please!!!!
Matburn155 3 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 If this basketball game goes to OT and they show it instead of wrestling I will officially hate basketball again.
lu_alum 920 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Thank God he missed that free throw.
Matburn155 3 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Whew thank God it's over!
tec87 349 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Only a minute and a half missed at 125, so no biggie and still scoreless.
tec87 349 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 I would not want to be on McDonoughs side of the chewing out he'll get from Brands for throwing that headlock and not even getting points for it. lol.
Flying-Tiger 617 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 I can't believe they they started the match. We could of missed the entire first half if that guy makes the second free throw.
piggy 8 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 OK....so what's the under/over on the use of the phrase "...go ahead and.." by the otherwise likable BTN commentator, Jim Gibbons? I say 80.
tec87 349 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 I can't believe they they started the match. We could of missed the entire first half if that guy makes the second free throw. Â It wouldn't have been the first time they've done that. I remember watching a dual on there a couple seasons ago where they had a replay of a basketball game on before a dual and the game went into OT. Mind you it was a REPLAY and they cut to the dual meet live after that game was completed and the dual was at 141 or the end of 133.
ban_basketball 16 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Considering the two fan bases that are there today, I have notified Guiness that a world record will be broken at this dual today for the number of times the word "stalling" will be yelled.
lightweight 22 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 This season is the first time I've really seen Ramos. He is strong AND quick. Fun to watch.
Matburn155 3 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 125: What was McDonough thinking with that headlock? Thorn looked decent but McDonough looked pretty rough. Â 133: Wow Ramos looked really good...Almost got the major!
lightweight 22 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Nice athleticism by Dardanes to kick out of the single leg.

ban_basketball 16 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 I can see that Gramble is suited up and on the Iowa bench.
tec87 349 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Ballweg over Dardanes 3-1. Iowa up 9-0 after 141.
lightweight 22 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Ballweg pulls it out. Good patience.
lightweight 22 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Didn't they say that Ness was hurt last dual?
LemonPie 1,368 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Dardanes brothers are only sophomores but it'll be interesting to see if their careers resemble that of a Mike Thorn or a Cody Yohn. Im just not seeing the progression. Looks like they have two Yohns at the lower weights
tec87 349 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Didn't they say that Ness was hurt last dual? He's been hurt all season and hasn't really looked that great, which is is why some of the Minnesota faithful were a bit apprehensive to make score predictions or outcome predictions on this match. lightweight 22 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Kelly wasted an opportunity to escape there at the end of the period.
tec87 349 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Jayson Ness looks like a young preppy science teacher on the sidelines there. lol.
LtWtLooker 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2013 Never trust a gibbon to provide information intelligible to humans  this should come down to HWY if Ness wins. There are no bonus pts in this matches future so IA takes 57 then gets beaten like Mudflaps dog. Last 2 matches won 2-0 by Nelson. hoping my DE homeboy wins this one. Strange cause I'd rather MN win the dual. I guess its a win win situation for me if it comes down to hwt
