Perry 1,429 Report post Posted December 11, 2016 Any info on how the Micic/McKee match looked? Kroells beating somebody by tech fall is kind of impressive.
silver-medal 670 Report post Posted December 11, 2016 Seems like some guys caught up to Murphy. I get the impression he's not 100%. Having said that....Minny is doing a really nice job this year. Coach Eggum and staff have their guys wrestling well. Steveson is quietly impressing at a deep 184 wt. Short looks like he is in the mid AA mix. We know Kroells is a fine hvy. Michigan is young and has shown flashes of great potential but their flames were doused in Vegas. Still, Amine is a solid rook while Massa and Micic are fantastic. Remember, they're sitting on Abounader, Coon and Pantaleo. M should have a great team next season. 2 JHRoseWrestling and mhecke01 reacted to this
NYWRESTLER94 221 Report post Posted December 11, 2016 Any info on how the Micic/McKee match looked? Kroells beating somebody by tech fall is kind of impressive. was good for a little bit. Micic had a comfortable early lead and McKee got himself back in it down by 1. Micic got a reversal and caught McKee in a scramble off of Micic's shot I believe and pinned him. Micic was clearly the better guy in that one

wrestlingnerd 3,004 Report post Posted December 12, 2016 Short is the surprise of the season so far for Minny. I was almost ready to call him a bit of a bust at the end of last year and he has really turned it on unexpectedly this year. Holding Murphy to a point is a good win for him. headshuck 2,607 Report post Posted December 12, 2016 Lizak, Thorn and Early will be back January 1. Not sure if Early can beat out Kingsley for the 165 spot, but that might be another difficult decision for Eggum.

brando413 35 Report post Posted December 14, 2016 Bust You're joking right? 18-3 during his RS year. He's currently 8-4 (I think) with a win over Fleetwood. He's had a rough stretch losing to Gonser, Krammer, and Polakowski but I would not call him a bust. He also has given Jack Mueller his closest match of the season so far.
