I was hoping Coach Ryan would sit 125. He needs to heal up. In his current form he is a huge hole, but he has the potential to maybe even AA if he can get his knee better and his weight back under control.

It's not like they are going to lose to Maryland.

JRod and Micah sat due to illness. Bo could have gone today if he was needed. According to Curt Heinrichs.

Didn't Gross start out at Iowa?  If so, wonder where he would have fit this year--141?

Valencia with a solid win.  Joe Smith does not seem like he has improved from last season.  Brunson not so good.

I was impressed with Dance today. After watching Mueller at the Scuffle I felt like it was going to be a tough matchup but he pretty much dominated other than the rideout. And not too sure he was all that worried about getting out after going up big in the 1st. If he gets by Cruz next week he should have 2 tests left - likely Rodriguez at National Duals (since Iowa ain't coming to Blacksburg) and Mueller again at ACCs. If he gets through all that, I'll be rooting for Suriano at Big 10s. If Gilman and Suriano split, Dance should end up with the 1 seed and a much easier path to the finals.

This is a situation where I would like to see Suriano forfeit the Big Ten finals match.  Never would happen though.

This is Youtsey's last go-round.  He's no slouch, having finished 5th last year and 6th the year before.

His return might make things a little more interesting at 125.

Edit:  I had assumed that he'd been off due to an injury, but just saw this article on trackwrestling: http://www.trackwrestling.com/tw/PortalPost.jsp?postId=268411076 .
