Both are possible, but he is never beating an Ashnault type guy(at least this year) where I expect he could give Montoya a lot of trouble. Each is simlarily ranked. levityrel 4 Report post Posted February 12, 2017 Maybe, but Pletcher at 133 is likely top 8 right now.I guess I'm not as blown away with Pletcher as you are. Yes he beat McCrystal by a close decision. And I don't see much separation between those two. If they wrestled 10 times I'd bet they split even. And right now I consider McCrystal as maybe a round of 12 type talent. I think Redd will be competing for championships on the other hand. You don't think Pletcher improves by one match at 133, a weight class where he won't be undersized?
wrestlingnerd 2,777 Report post Posted February 12, 2017 Has Red closed the gap with McCrystal? Wasn't McCrystal beating him handily at the start of the season? I don't know about Red competing for championships yet.

I'm just saying I have more Faith in Redd having a better career....as far as being a championship contender Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

Red is going to be an AA contender next year. Not forgetting what Ashnault did to him though. That was a throttling. 1 levityrel reacted to this
